Emma Swan is her name. Well that's the nickname that her best friend gave her. Her real name is Emma Nolan, but anybody close to her uses the last name Swan.
Her best friend is Ruby Lucas. Ruby and Emma were like sisters. They told each other everything.
Not much went on in the quiet little town of Storybrooke, both girls were going into the 12th grade.
Emma was quite, while Ruby was outgoing, but both knew how to get into trouble and how to get themselves out of it.
Ruby never was the type of person to really get involved with a guy, and Emma was really picky about her guys. She put up walls that never let new love in. It kept out pain, but also love. The love from family and friends was the only love she let in. Deep inside, she wanted someone to bring down her walls, but that person would have to be absolutely special.
