At gym class that day, the game was still soccer. They still had the same captains, but with new teams. Emma's first choice was Ruby, but the next person she was going to pick was already claimed by Regina.
"Killian. I pick Killian," Regina said and gave Emma a cocky smile. It was apart of a plan. Emma ignored it and picked the rest of her team.
Throughout gym class, Regina kept giving Emma looks. She knew what had happened and was going to get the most out of it. Inside, Emma was fuming. She was jealous and wasn't going to deny it. Killian was blinded and couldn't see Regina's advances by his looks to Emma, because he was just focusing on her. At the end of the day, Emma and Killian were talking about their relationship.
"So, love, am I forgiven?" He asked casually.
"I just want to know what exactly happened last night," Emma said.
Killian explained to her that after they had talked, he didn't see her go to the coat room.
Katherine came up to him. "Hey you. It's me Emma. I decided that I will indeed give you a chance. Just kiss me and you'll see," she said. He didn't hesitate to kiss her. The girl of his dreams just returned the kiss.
Or so he thought.
After he finished up what happened Emma had her fists clenched.
"That bitch," she muttered under her breath.
He pretended not to notice what she said. "So, now that we know that we both uh, like each other. Why don't we go out on a date?"
Emma thought about it for a moment before finally facing him. "Yes. I will go out with you."
A smile formed across his face. "Good. Pick you up tonight at eight?"
'Tonight? There wasn't enough time. You have to say no. You have to say that that is too early.' Emma thought to herself. "Sure that would be great." Emma internally face palmed. What she did went against everything that she just told herself.
"Good." Killian walked away and left Emma in the middle of the street. She walked home and told her mom about the date.
It was only 3:00. She could get ready in that amount of time. All she had to do was take a shower, find an outfit, do her makeup, and do her hair. Five hours was enough time. Mary Margaret helped her daughter pick out a stunning dark blue dress and gold flats. Emma's hair was flowing naturally and in its curls. Her makeup was also natural looking. Sooner than she expected Killian was knocking at her door.
"Do I look okay?" Emma asked her mom as she was walking down the stairs.
"Emma, for the millionth time, you look absolutely perfect, and he would be a fool to think other wise," Mary Margaret said.
"Okay, but is my makeup running?" Emma asked.
"I'm not answering that. You look fine. Now go have fun."
Emma opened the door and there Killian stood. He was wearing a black leather jacket, deep blue shirt, and jeans.
"You look stunning, Swan," he said, running his eyes up and down her body.
"Thanks. You don't look too bad yourself," Emma told him with a smile.
They walked out of her house and went to a different restaurant than Granny's. The night was going okay, until he asked her a question that she didn't want to hear.
"So, Swan, I heard from some people around school that you got into a little bit of trouble with a boy. Is that true? And who was he?" He asked.
Emma let out a sigh. She really didn't want to talk about any of her ex-boyfriends, and she really didn't want to talk about this one. "Yes I did. His name was Neal Cassidy. We broke into a few stores and got into some trouble."
