Two days went by and Regina noticed Emma and Killian's separation. Practically the whole school noticed. For two weeks, Killian and Emma were friends. At the beginning stages of true friendship. Or love. When Emma saw him, more anger rushed through her body, which made her punch things more and even harder. Killian was in the process of putting his apology project together. The cuts on her knuckles never went away, so she bought style, finger less gloves to help cover them so know one knew. At the end of the day, Regina walked up to Emma who was at her locker.

"Hey, Emma," Regina said in a perky way.

"Okay, before you start talking, we aren't friends. Don't come up to me and say my name in a way as if we were," Emma said with obvious levels of annoyance and anger in her voice.

"I just wanted to invite you to the party that I am hosting next Saturday. Hope you can make it," Regina winked. She gave Emma a piece of paper and walked away.

Emma took it and skimmed over it. It was at 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. on the upcoming Saturday. In big bold letters, Emma's name was printed neatly, and it said for casual wear. Everyone in the whole school got one. Including Killian. He just knew had to go to that party with her by his side. The project that he had been working on was nearly completed, but it had to happen. Tonight.

He texted Ruby to tell Emma to meet in the woods at 5:00. Ruby was all set on helping him get her back, and Robin was in on it too. Ruby texted Emma to meet her at their special place in the woods. Their special place was just a huge clearing covered in grass. To make it more special, the girls made a fire pit, and dug a huge hole for valuables and such.

Emma walked over to their special place and Killian came out from his hiding spot.

"Swan, you came," he said happily.

"No, I did not come here to be yelled at again," Emma shouted and turned around.

"I'm going to do this quick, so treasure it, love. I've done this to apologize. I shouldn't have yelled at you the other day. A lot has been going on, and it all caught up to me," he paused.

"I forgive you," she quickly said.

"So that is why I did this." Suddenly his eyes widened. "You forgive me?"

"Yes."

"So I did all of this for nothing?" Killian came over to Emma and turned her around.

Standing at the right angle, Emma saw something written in flowers. It was the phrase, "I'm so sorry, Swan." Killian snapped his fingers and lights that were strung in the trees clicked on.

"How did you do this?" She asked, clearly impressed.

"Well it took a lot of flowers, and extension cords," he said with a laugh.

She hugged him and he gladly returned it. 'Robin was wrong. All it took was a simple 'I'm sorry' that came from my mouth to get her back.' He thought to himself.

As soon as it all clicked in Emma's mind, she let go of Killian and sat down on one of the logs that were surrounding the fire pit. 'You idiot! He probably didn't want that! Just because you like him, it doesn't mean that he likes you! All he wants is to be friends. Nothing more.' She thought to herself.

Killian sat down next to her and stared at the ground. No one knew what to say. The temperature was low that night, and the subtle breezes didn't help. Soon, Emma started getting cold, but she didn't want to leave. She brought her hands around her arms and hugged herself. Killian noticed that Emma was getting cold, so he took his leather jacket off and put it around her.
