Chapter 32

Killian forced himself back to sleep, but he didn't dream of Princess Emma or Hook again. He woke up again due to frustration. He looked over at his Emma, and she was thrashing in her sleep. He shook her awake.

"No no no! Don't do this!" She yelled as she woke up.

"Swan? Are you okay?" Killian asked after she got a good look at where she was.

"No! I had that dream of Hook again, only this time he was going to a castle with a few of the crew members. He told me that he was going to kidnap a princess."

Killian's jaw dropped. "I was with the princess. The princess looked like you love. I think these people are from an alternate universe. Did Hook say anything about her?"

"No all he said was that he was going to kidnap her for ransom. I tried to stop him but he wouldn't listen."

Killian put an arm around her. "Hey it's okay. She said that she could fight. I'm sure that she can defend herself against Hook."

Emma nodded and laid back down. Killian did the same and soon they both were asleep. Neither of them dreamed of the pirate or the princess again that night.

At school, Emma was standing by her locker with Robin, Regina, and Ruby when Milah started walking towards them.

"You know I hate a lot of people, but she tops the list." Regina said.

"It's good to know that I'm not on the top anymore." Emma said sarcastically.

"No you're like the third or fourth person." Regina said.

"I can tell that you're warming up to me already." Emma said with a wink which caused everybody to laugh.

"What's so funny?" Milah asked and everyone went dead silent.

"Well it doesn't concern you, so stay out of it." Regina yelled and Robin smirked.

Milah had a cup in her hand, and before she left, she dumped it in Emma's direction, but Emma quickly pushed the cup back and the liquid ended up on Milah's leather dress. Laughs were heard around her and she was pissed. "Emma!" She raised her fist up, and before anyone could blink, Milah's fist collided with Emma's eye.

"Ow. That hurt." Emma said holding her hand to her eye.

Ruby ran over to her and led her to the bathroom. Before she left, she whispered in Regina and Robin's ears. "Go find Killian." They nodded their heads and ran off. Milah followed Emma and Ruby into the bathroom.

"I see she can't even take care of herself." Milah said angrily.

"Shut the hell up! Go find someone who wants to listen to you." Ruby said wetting a paper towel.

"Good idea! I'll go find Killian! I'll tell him that Emma left him. He will be so broken hearted that he won't care who picks up the pieces." She turned around and two bright blue eyes were looking into her mud brown ones.

"You're a bitch Milah. Punching my girlfriend because you want me. It's just sad, because you never had a chance before, and you sure as hell don't have one now." Killian said.

"No Killian please let me explain! She came after me! She said that I better stay away from you or she'd kill me."

"I did not." Emma said weakly. One of the lenses from her glasses were popped out. She was dizzy. That girl had some force to her punches.

"The truth Milah, or I will ask Emma." Killian said crossing his arms over his chest.

Milah stayed quiet so he turned to Emma.

"Me, Ruby, Regina, and Robin were talking at my locker and she came up to me, almost poured her drink on me, but I pushed it back and it spilled all over her. She then decided to punch me." Emma said.

"Me, Regina, and Robin are all witnesses, so now that you know the story, get out of the girls bathroom before someone sees you." Ruby said.

Killian nodded and walked out. Milah followed him, but she didn't stick around. Ruby fixed Emma up, and it was definitely going to leave a mark. When they came out, Killian inspected Emma's eye.

"Swan I'm so sorry." He said.

"Don't be. It's my fault I did what I did and got hit." Emma said.

"Does it hurt?"

"Yea, and it's going to hurt even more tomorrow or later today."

"We have to figure out how to stop this." Ruby said.

Emma and Killian nodded their heads when the bell rang signaling the end of the day. Free period was either spent in the classrooms or the halls, depending on your behavior. Killian helped Emma back to their shared apartment/hotel room. He pulled out a pair of sunglasses to shield her eyes from the bright light.

"When we get home, can you call to get me another pair of glasses? I'll give you all the information you will need. I just don't want to talk to anybody." Emma said.

"Anything for you love." Killian said then kissed her cheek.

They made it back, and Emma went straight for the bathtub. She wanted to take a hot bath to help her relax. She started the water and shut the lights off, letting the little bit of sunlight come in through the window. That was the only light in the bathroom. She got in the tub, and let out a breath of air, before furious pounding began on the bathroom door.

"What?" Emma yelled.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"I'm fine Killian, I just got in here."

"Okay fine you caught me. Can I come in?"

"I don't care."

Killian opened the door, and he had a bowl of chocolate covered strawberries in his hand. He hovered a strawberry over her mouth wanting her to leap up and get it, but pulling away so she would bite the air. She gave him a 'not amused' look and then he lowered some and she took a bite. He put the top on a piece of toilet paper before grabbing one for himself.

"Killian you know I love you right?" Emma asked.

"Of course I do. And I love you." He said.

"I know. And thanks for when we started going out and we talked, you didn't do the "you hang up first." "No you hang up first thing." I hate that." Emma said with a laugh.

"I do too, that's why I never did it." He bent down and gave her a kiss on the lips before exiting the bathroom.

She didn't find the need to relax anymore because Killian left with the stress. She cleaned herself up and left the bathroom. She found Killian sitting on the couch watching a football game.

"Who's playing who?" She asked sitting next to him.

"New England Patriots against the Pittsburgh Steelers." Killian said.

Emma nodded and found herself losing interest very fast. She went into the bedroom and did her homework before falling into a deep sleep.
