Emma threw the ice cream in the freezer. She was upset with herself. She lost him. Something that she was afraid of of happening. She grabbed the leather jacket she gave him and went to his house. It had only been a few hours, but she wanted him back. Killian was her whole world. His eyes that she got lost in. His accent that she could listen to all day long. His hair that was as soft as clouds. And his style of clothes pulled it all together. Emma took a deep breath and knocked on the door. Liam had opened it.

"Emma! Killian didn't say anything about you coming over." He said.

"Uh no. I came over to see him. It's important." Emma said.

"Go up to his room. First door on the right."

Emma nodded and ran up the stairs. She was about to knock, but she heard the strumming of a guitar. Followed by the soft music, was singing. After another moment, she knocked on the door. He opened it a crack and when he saw her he looked back in his room then at her.

"One minute." He said then shut the door. A few seconds later he opened the door again. "Come in."

She walked in awkwardly and sat next to him on the bed.

"I'm sorry." She said.

"No please don't be sorry. It's my fault. I know I will never be that guy, and I know that you don't see me as him. I feel really bad that I made you talk about your past like that, and I'm sorry I yelled at you." Killian said. A moment of silence came. "The truth is, I don't want to lose you. I love you so much. You have every right to be mad at me."

"I'm not mad. How can I be after an apology like that? But, I have been afraid of losing you since before we got together. After what happened with Neal, walls went up. Graham came along and he brought some of them down, but after he broke up with me, they got even higher. It was hard to find someone that I trusted." She stood up getting ready to leave because she knew he wouldn't want to hear this. "I'm still having a hard time trusting you."

Killian's jaw dropped. After all that they have been through, she still didn't trust him. "How can you not trust me? Have I told you a lie? Have I done something to you that made you not want to trust me?"

"No you haven't. I'm sorry okay? If you have been through what I have, you would know why. I'm trying to trust you, and let me say that it's a lot more than what I first thought."

"Will you ever trust me?"

Emma looked up at him. "Of course I will, it's just going to take some time."

"Do you love me?"

"What kind of question is that? Of course I love you."

He stood up in front of her. "Then let me prove it to you. I will do whatever it is that you want." She looked down at her feet, before he pulled her head up. "You know you can trust me love."

She took a deep breath. Her heart was racing, and she could feel her hands shaking, but as soon as she looked into his crystal blue eyes, her nervousness vanished. She nodded slowly.

"Are you sure?" He asked.

"The way to move on from your past is to enjoy the present right? I'm sure." She said.

He kissed her slowly. He was taking this one step at a time. He leaned her up against the wall. He ran is hands down her sides and her stomach. Nothing was going to be about him. He had to show her that he was the guy that she wanted and the guy that she will always want.

Emma woke up in a different place. It took her a moment to realize that she was in Killian's bedroom. She felt strong arms around her waist. She looked over and saw Killian sleeping. His hair was all over the place. Clothes were strewn all over the floor also. She turned over and caught a whiff of her favorite cologne. He had worn it just so she would feel relaxed.

She brought her lips to his. "I love you so much. Please don't forget that okay? I was afraid of losing you too. I trust you. Something I should have done a long time ago." She turned back over so her back was at his front. Before she fell asleep, she could have sworn that he said 'Okay' which he did. He wasn't about to give her up. Emma was his world. She was his job, his life, his hope, his light.

Killian woke up before Emma did later that day. It was around 6:00. She was going to have to go home because her parents were probably worried. He brushed the hair out of her face and kissed every open piece of skin on her face and neck. Her eyes opened and a smile came onto her face.

"Killian I don't want to get up." Emma groaned.

"Love you have to. You're parents are probably worried about you." Killian whispered into her ear.

The warm air from his breath sent goosebumps down her neck and back.

"They're always worried about something."

"Because they love you."

Emma looked up at the clock. 6:10. "I don't want to get up."

"Well if you stay here you are going to have to find an excuse for your parents."

Emma grabbed her phone and told them that she was staying at his house. She had to make them think that something wouldn't happen. She got a text from them immediately after she had sent it. She had permission and was fine.

"There it's taken care of." Emma said setting her phone down on the side table.

"Good." Killian said.

Emma laid down trying to sleep, but she couldn't. The constant ticking of the clock on the wall kept her awake. Apparently it was keeping Killian awake too.

"Do you want to go get some food at Granny's love?" He asked.

"Yea. I'm having a hard time sleeping." Emma said. She got up and got dressed. When she came out of the bathroom, Killian was laying on his side watching her. "What are you doing?"

"Enjoying the view." He said with a smile.

"What view?"

He raised his eyebrows and his lips formed into a smirk.

"Cmon get up. I'm hungry. I can always go for myself."

His smirk disappeared from his face and he ran around the room trying to get his clothes. As he was in the bathroom, Emma got a text. She pulled out her phone and read it.

'Did you miss me?'
