Two more weeks later, and Killian still hadn't asked Emma to prom. She was starting to get antsy. She walked into her apartment and the lights were off. She flicked the switch and they came on. It was her normal looking apartment. Killian was hanging out with Victor and Robin doing who knows what. She walked into her room and grabbed clothes, then headed into the bathroom. The door was shut, and that was unusual. She reached for the doorknob, and was about to turn it, when she heard that a guitar was being played. She smiled. 'Killian must be back early.' She thought to herself. Emma turned the doorknob and the bathroom was lit with candles. She dropped her clothes and saw Killian leaning against the wall with his guitar. He was playing a sweet melody. He looked up at her. The blue color in his eyes, and the shadow that was draped over his face, still showed that he had a smile on his face.
"Emma Swan, I haven't had a really good time to ask this, but would you do me the honor, of letting me take you to prom?" He asked.
"What better way to be asked than in a bathroom?" She laughed and came closer. She kissed his lips sweetly. "Yes."
He put the guitar down and hugged her. "I was so nervous that someone had already asked you, and you would have told me no."
"I'm not going to lie, someone did ask me already." Emma said.
"Who?"
One week ago...
Emma was putting her books back for the end of the day, when she felt a tap on the shoulder. She turned around and saw Walsh standing there with a bouquet of red roses.
"Emma, I was wondering if you would like to go to prom with me." He said.
Emma stared at the roses in his hand. She darted her eyes up to his, and she saw pure lust. She opened her mouth to speak, but he cut her off.
"Great! So I'll pick you up at your house?"
"Walsh, this is all very sweet, but I already have a date." Lie. She was good at detecting lies, and she was a pretty good one too.
"Who are you going with?" He asked crossing his arms.
"My boyfriend Killian."
Walsh threw the flowers at her, and one of the thorns from one of the roses hit her face and cut her forehead on the side.
'Killian is going to have a shit fit!' She thought to herself holding her fingers to the cut.
Emma ran into the bathroom and noticed that it wasn't deep, nor was it bleeding too bad. She also saw that she could cover it with her hair. She did that, then went home thinking that she didn't have a date, and just lost her only chance at one.
When Emma explained what happened, she left out the part where she thought that she wasn't going to have a date.
"He cut you?" Killian yelled.
"Yes, but it was on accident. Don't worry about it." Emma said.
"Let me see."
"What? No, I-" Emma protested before being cut off by him.
"Let me see."
Emma sighed then moved her hair over to the side of her face and showed Killian the one inch cut just above her eyebrow. "See? It's nothing. I'm fine."
He moved his hand and looked at her in the eyes. "I know and I love you so much."
"I love you too. Just stop making a big deal about a small cut. I'm fine."
He nodded slowly then began to undress. Emma did the same and he started the bath water. Emma let the hot water relax her muscles, and let it melt the stress away. She definitely had too much of it.
After the bath, Emma got dressed in fluffy pajamas, and Killian dressed into sweatpants and a loose shirt. She walked out into the living room and saw another note on the floor in front of the door.
'Have fun at prom! I know you are going, and let me tell you, you may go with Killian linked on your arm, but by the end of the night, he will be stuck to me like glue. I know that with what I'm wearing, his eyes won't leave my body! Sweet dreams sleeping on that one dear.'
And of course, it was signed with Milah's name. She rolled her eyes, and that's when she felt the breathing on her neck.
"I promise you Swan, I am going and coming back with you." He said kissing her cheek.
"I know. I'm not worried." Another lie. Deep down she was scared to death. What if Milah was right? She would go home by herself, after the most important dance of her life. She threw the letter in the trash and sat on the couch. Killian followed her.
"On prom day, I will go over to Robin's house. We made plans that he, Victor, and I would get ready there, and you, Ruby, and Regina could get ready here. Sound good?" He asked.
"Perfect. Sounds like you have everything figured out."
He gave her a quick peck on the lips then turned the tv on. They put the news on, and there weren't any interesting stories on.
"Do you think Milah got in trouble with the cops?" Emma asked turning to him.
"I'm not sure. Maybe a warning." Killian said looking into her green eyes that were begging to be told that she did.
"Okay." Emma nodded then turned her attention back to the tv screen.
Killian did the same. He wrapped his arm around her and held her close to his body. "What color dress are you wearing for prom love?"
"I'm not sure, maybe red or blue. It all depends on what they have at the store." Emma said with a laugh.
Killian whispered in her ear, "Pick blue. You look far more sexy in it."
Emma giggled then stole a kiss from him. She went over to her phone, and there was a text from an unknown number.
'Tell Killian that Neal sends his condolences.'
