We walked into the ballroom. I had to admit, we did an AMAZING job! And in such short timing! Wanna know how we did it? Well we went to the main ball room of the mansion. I was in charge of lighting. So I created some light orbs and changed their color, making them a variety of blue, pink, and some yellow. Then I stuck them in places to make the room seem glow in the dark. That was you could see but it gave you that party vibe. I used telekinesis to float all the furniture to their places. Easy. I was also in charge of the fire place, that would provide warmth and only went out when I wanted it to.

Marcus was in charge of cooling and ice cubes. He made some ice dispenser with 'ever lasting ice' and fixed the air conditioner. Richard was pranking everyone with his invisibility.

Carlyn read all of our minds to what songs we wanted and put it in a five hour CD that would play all through the night. Even if it was only ten people this was going to be fun. Zoey filled all the balloons up with either air/wind/or helium. She had the power so we didn't question it. Tyler was teleporting from place to place fixing minor details. Bailey had to pick up the heavy stuff to move. Chase was running with his super speed around to tell us updates for around the room. Jason got all the drinks and poured them into the cups. He also used his force field powers to protect someone in case they had part of a job that was semi dangerous. That turned out to be Chase. Stacie healed him, she was the nurse of our group.

We got all of our food in advance. So now we just have to enter since we just got dressed. The boys were there already, looking as dashing as ever. The ones that already had mates were already in their colors, their ties the same color as their eyes and their hair combed neatly. Their partners glowed as the couples gave each other compliments. Chase was wearing a red tie, Richard a black one, and was Jason . . . ?

"Surprise," he put up jazz hands. I was shocked. His tie matched my dress, it had the galaxy design. "How did you-?"

"Bailey told me," he interrupted. I smiled as I saw Bailey wink at me before talking to Richard. "Well you look very nice, Jason," I complimented. We all sat down at our tables. Me and Jason had our own table, as I saw Stacie glare at us,  and Chase gave us an apologetic smile. I felt sorry for him. He had no idea who would be his mate, he was very shy sometimes, so right now I guess he is hanging out with Stacie. Though at least I knew I had no chance of finding someone, so I wasn't trying desperately.

"You look, well . . .uh" he was blushing. "Do I really look that bad?" I teased. "No no! You look breathtaking! I mean . . . uh . . .well I haven't seen you dressed up since . . ." he trailed off. "Our piano recital? Even then it was casually dressy," I laughed. A warm feeling was in my chest. Even though I had no chance with him, the melancholy feeling warmed me with nostalgia.Me and Jason had the same piano teacher, so we had to go to recitals together, never talked there though. Plus we were used to seeing each other in T-Shirts and shorts all summer. Can't blame a change of pace. Or clothing. "Yeah, well it's different seeing you in a suit. The most dressed up I saw YOU is when you wore a pink polo shirt and jeans!" I chuckled. We both laughed.

It reminded me how he was two years ago. Back then he was dating a girl named Tate and he had a skater boy look. Towards the end of that summer he was wearing beanies on his head, before that some kind of Elmo baseball cap. It broke my heart when I saw Tate wear it. Even after they broke up they were close. It shattered my heart. Even though I was like, in 6-7th grade.

"Hey, you OK?" he asks. He was waving his hand in front of my face. "Oh, yea, sorry I was thinking about how you used to be at summer camp years ago." I said. NO! NO! NO! Why did I confess that?!

"Really? What was I like?" he asked. "Oh I just remembered how you were more of a 'skater boy' *Smirks* and how you would always wear a baseball cap or a beanie. You had longer hair and even rode a skateboard with your old friend Gavin." Its true. That's when I first fell for the Jason Kimber. The boy I would crush on since the first week of meeting him, whom I didn't know would change the rest of my summers and camp for as long as I thought about him. I frowned. "I also remember you and Tate . . ." They broke up on the last day of camp, but both claimed to dump the other.

"Oh. Yeah, her. We were still friends after we broke up, but everyone still thought we were still an item," he said. Not everyone, I remember one of the older kids kept think me and HIM were an item. He bugged us about it once, and we both denied it. "Yeah, well you two were always hanging out together! You were inseparable! Even I asked if you were still together!" I said, blushing at the memory. I do a lot of stupid stuff, but they usually only happen around my crush.

"Yeah, well so were you and Mark! And you two weren't nagged about it!" He said jokingly. "No! Were nagged even MORE! Every day someone would ask us! Plus I do remember when we were forced to do Titanic pose for ships and sailors you even MENTIONED that to him!" I laughed. It's true. Everyone would ask me and Mark about it. Mark was just a friend but the camp didn't think the same. I seriously debated asking him out so people would stop asking. Also the Titanic pose thing with Jason wasn't AT ALL romantic. We were sweaty from running around the Cafeteria at camp and all the kids were teasing us about it to the point Jason told me it was OK to move to the other side. Yea, did NOT like that day. Jason was laughing his ass off at the memory.

"Hey we didn't really hang out very much this summer. But I remember we did sometimes. Do you remember?" he asked me.

"Sure. There were a few times when me, you, and a few others were playing tag, others when I gave you some money for snacks and dodge balls to throw at others. Thanks by the way for getting me out when I was the last one standing. REALLLLLLLLLY appreciated it! And other times when I would mix you're rubix cubes and you solved them, other times when we were both in the piano rooms, another when it was me, you, and Tate, another when you and I had snack together and-" I stopped and caught myself. Oh crud. I said too much.

Jason's eyes glinted as he smirked.

Gulp.
