For getting me through the late nights when I can't sleep and for giving me ideas that he doesn't even realize he's given me!
///Chapter 15\\\
Tyelr's POV
I kept pushing on her chest but she wasn’t responding. I didn’t want to push harder for fear of breaking her ribs but I felt like I was losing her. I brought my mouth down to hers again but she began to cough and I let out a long relieved sigh before it was replaced by anger.
“What were you doing?” I half yell and she cringes away from me, reminding me of what she had once said.
“I was hot in my dress and I thought I would cool off with a swim but a wave over came me and I couldn’t get air.” She says, almost crying. I pulled her up from her lying position and wrapped my arms around her.
“Did you not realize there was a storm coming?” I ask softly and she shakes her head against my chest.
“I thought you left.”
“I did but I came back.” I say and she moves her head to look up at me, a curious expression on her face. “Let’s get you back to the castle.” I say, lifting her up and helping her to her feet. She moved to put her dress back on but I stopped her, handing her my own shirt.
“Why?”
“You’ll never be able to get back into your dress especially since you’re wet. It is wet but it’s loose and you can wrap it around you.” I say and she nods and takes it, wrapping it around her. I picked up her dress and slung it over my shoulder. “May I?” I ask, holding my hand near her waist.
“Yeah.” She says and I wrap my hand around her and pull her toward me so I support most of her weight. “Why’d you come back?” She asks and I debate whether or not to tell her. I decided against it and looked straight ahead even though I could fell her eyes on me.
“I thought I forgot something.” I say and she laughs a little.
“You’re lying.” She says.
“How would you know?” I ask and she looks away from me.
“Because I gave you the same excuse when I went back to the music room the day you had that meeting.”
“So then what were you going to tell me that day?”
“I tell you if you’ll tell me.” She says and I shake my head. “Why not?” She pleads and I can’t help but laugh.
“You have to go first.” I say and she shakes her head.
“Nope you.”
“No. You asked so you go first.”
“Fine. I went back when I heard you singing. You have a beautiful voice you know.” She says and looks at me expectantly.
“You’re actually being honest aren’t you?” I ask and she nods her head.
“You’re turn.” She says and I look away from her again.
“Can you promise me you’re not going to get upset?”
“I promise nothing because I have no idea how I’m going to react considering I have no idea what you’re going to tell me.” She says and I can’t help but smile at her answer. I ran a hand through my hair and sighed deeply.
“I love you Luna. I’ve noticed lately how much you mean to me and how I don’t think I can go without you’re little comments or the way you’re so strong even when things are at their worst.” I say and she stays silent. “I understand if you don’t and I don’t expect you to say anything considering what you just said to me but I needed to tell you.”
