///Chapter 5\\\

Luna's POV

The prince was strangely quiet when he returned from the Big Circle and I wondered why. It just didn't seem like him to be so quiet for so long. He had something in his hand but I couldn't see what it was and it was driving me crazy. The annoying thing about being a curious person, I hated secrets.

"Can I ask you a question?" The prince asks after a little more silence.

"You just did." I say and he looks at me confused. "Can I ask you a question is a question." I say and a small smile forms on his lips.

"I suppose so. Can I ask you another question after this one?" he asks after carefully considering his words.

"You can but I may not give you an answer." I say and he nods.

"Fair enough. When you were speaking to your mom earlier she said something." he began and looked at me nervously. Why was he nervous? "She said you have history..." he trails. I was hoping he hadn't heard that.

"That's not a question." I say, trying to avoid saying anything.

"Fine then an inquiry. Are you always this technical?" he asks annoyed.

"Fairly often." I say and he rolls his eyes.

"Are you going to answer or not?" he asks.

"Not." I say and see his expression turn angry but before he can say anything I interrupt him. "I told you I might not give you answer so I'm choosing not to."

"I could always force you to." he says matter-of-factly and I look at him confused.

"How would you do that?" I ask and a smirk forms on his face.

"I have my ways." he says and I'm about to ask him what he means when the carriage comes to an abrupt stop. "Come on. I'm already late and I don't have time to bring you back to the room so you're coming with." he says, getting out of the carriage.

I don't even argue with him as I'm curious to see what he means. I walk slowly behind him, not sure of the customs involved with being with him. I really should have paid more attention to Oxe when I had the chance. I followed him through a few doors and some very twisty hallways until we finally stopped outside two double doors.

"You're probably not going to like what I have to do but since you made me go with you this morning you don't have much of a choice and I can't allow you to wander the building alone." he says and before I can ask him why I might not like it he enters the room with me close behind.

"Ah. Now that you're here your Majesty we can continue." An older looking man said and the prince nodded before taking a seat beside his dad. He gestured to me to sit beside him and a chair was brought forward for me.

"Thank you." I say to the girl that brought the chair and she looks at me surprised.

"You're welcome m'lady." she says and quickly backs up again. I caught the prince looking at me again and I turned to see an expression of surprise and amusement on his face. I have him back a confused look of my own before he turned back to the older man who was waiting silently for his attention.

"Please bring in the accused." he calls out.

I man was brought in, his hands bound by chains. He looked terrified and I would have been too. I didn't know what he had been accused for but with the genuine fear in his eyes and his pleads ringing out in the room I couldn't help but think he was innocent.

"Accused of refusing to reform with no mental illness. He was sent to head office several times and warned. After several times he was sent to reform and refused to, saying the System was a joke." The man said and I caught my breath. I would have been accused of the same. I should be accused of the same.
