///Chapter 23\\\
Tyler's POV
I was lying here with the most beautiful girl in my arms asleep and I wanted to leave. I didn’t want Luna coming with me, I wanted to keep her safe. I could always just leave now while she was sleeping so peacefully. She would hate me for that though and it wasn’t worth it. Maybe I could convince her when she woke up? No, her mind was too set, I could hear it in her voice.
I sighed and looked down at her peaceful face. She was so beautiful it was hard to be away from her, but it was even harder to be close to her. She set my body on fire with every little touch and I yearned for her to be near me when she wasn’t. Even now, with her head on my shoulder and her hand on my chest, I wished for her entire body to be pressed against mine.
A small whimper escaped her lips and her hand clutched my shirt desperately. I placed my hand over hers and she relaxed her hand, her face still furrowed. I stroked her hair with my other hand and began to hum again and she slowly relaxed. I sighed again before gently kissing her forehead and slipping out from under the sheets. She grunted quietly when her hand reached out to where I had just been and her brow furrowed again.
Smiling lightly I kissed her forehead once more before leaving the room. I inhaled deeply after I shut the door softly behind me and leaned against it. There was no way I would be able to handle losing her, never. I moved away from the door and out to the living room where Gell was sitting reading.
“What’s up Ty?” She asks as I sit down beside her on the couch.
“I don’t know what to do Gell. She wants to come with but I just know something bad is going to happen if she does. I already fear something bad has happened.”
“What do you mean Ty?”
“I just find it strange that Ian left so quickly. He always argues with my decisions but this time he just let it go. That’s not like him.”
“I don’t know about Ian sweetie but you should take Luna with you. Sure she’ll be safer here but you’ll have more peace of mind if she’s with you and she’ll go crazy here not knowing.”
“But so much could happen with her with me. I don’t want to take that chance.”
“You’re going to have to. Besides, think of me, if you leave her here with me you’re sentencing me to an annoyed and mad emotional girl.” She says and I chuckle and nod.
“Alright, I’ll take her with me.” I say defeated and she smiles. She looked about too say something when a slamming door interrupted her.
Luna walked down the hall cursing loudly and I wondered what at until I heard my name. Her eyes were ablaze with anger as she rounded the corner but when she saw me she stopped cold and her mouth fell open in a little ‘o’. She looked back and forth between us for a little bit before just turning around and heading back to the room.
Chuckling, I got up and followed her, hearing Gell’s laughter behind me. I knocked on the door softly before entering. Luna sat with her head in her hands muttering unintelligible words. I couldn’t help the small smile that lined my face as I walked over to the bed and sat on the edge.
“Sorry.” She mumbles and I just laugh.
“What’s wrong?” I ask, scooting closer to her and wrapping my arms around her stomach and pulling her to me.
“I thought you left without me. I was just being stupid I guess.”
“No, you were smart. I won’t lie, I was planning on leaving without you.” I say and she opens her mouth to say something but I silenced her with my finger. “But Gell talked me out of it and I probably would have turned around anyway and rushed back. I would have been too worried about you anyway.” I finish and she smiles before kissing my finger.
