///Chapter 6\\\

Prince’s POV

I was amazed at her. I just told her flat out I didn’t like her and she still let me be near her. So many other girls would have thrown a tantrum but not her. Maybe it was because she didn’t feel the same way. It wouldn’t surprise me. She didn’t seem to like me very much from the beginning. I didn’t know why I was holding out hope for this other girl when she might not even like me but I would do anything.

We weren’t even halfway to the castle when I began to notice Luna struggling to put one foot in front of the other. I wondered what was causing her to be so tired when I remembered she hadn’t slept last night and I felt instantly bad. It was amazing what an argument and a few broken moments could do to change a person.

Just as she took another step though her body became a dead weight and I had to react fast to keep her from falling. I looked down at her and realized she was either asleep of passed out. Way to go Tyler; make a girl so exhausted that she can’t even stand up properly. I sighed and scooped her up in my arms, carrying her cradle style. She wasn’t heavy at all but it’s not like she would have been that difficult to carry anyway she was so petit.

I got a few confused looks as I entered the castle but I didn’t say anything as I wound my way expertly back to my room. There are a lot of hallways and stairs here and I enjoy it. I used to spend my time exploring every room as a child. Life was simple back then and I miss it but now I don’t have a choice. Being the only son of the throne means I have to take over the kingdom without a choice.

“Don’t…” Luna says suddenly and I look down at her immediately to find her eyes closed tight.

She began to thrash against me and I opened the door to my room with trouble. She was moving violently and it was hard to keep my grip on her. I walked quickly with her to the bed and lay her down gently. Immediately her thrashing stopped and her eyes relax a little, no longer clenched tight.

What was she dreaming about so vividly that simply my touch had her struggling to get away from me? I leaned over her and brushed a stray piece of her blond hair. She winced at my touch and immediately pulled away.

“Ty.” My sister says from the door.

“What Ariel?” I ask, turning to face her. She looked amused at something but she didn’t say anything.

“Dad wants you. He said it has something to do with this morning.” She says and I groan. No way could he have heard about that already. “What’s up with her?” she asks, nodding her head towards Luna who was speaking again in a hushed voice that I couldn’t hear.

“I don’t know.” I say and Ariel gives me a confused look. “She’s dreaming I think.” I say and her confused expression become one of I’m-not-stupid.

“Why is she sleeping?” she asks and I look away from her. She lets out an annoyed sigh and asks, “What did you do?”

“In my defense she started it.” I say like a child and Ariel gives me an annoyed glare. She may be younger then me but the majority of the time she was much more mature then I was. “She took the blankets from me when I refused to call in a cot for her so when she got up in the middle of the night I stole them back and she didn’t sleep.” I say really quickly.

Ariel strides quickly to the bed and before I know what she’s doing she pulls a loose pillow of the bed and hits me in the face with it. I stumble back slightly and glare at Ariel.

“What was that for?” I demand and she looks at me like I’m an idiot.

“You are so mean. I can’t believe you would do that to a girl. I thought mom raised you better than that.” She whisper yells. I hear Luna stir again and look over at her just to see that she turned.
