QUICHE

Pastry Base;
- Plain Flour | 200g
- Margarine | 50g
- Lard | 50g
- Salt

Filling;
- Egg | 2
- Onion (Diced) | 1/2
- Milk | 125ml
- Red Pepper (Diced) | 1/2
- Grated Cheese | 75g
- Bacon (Diced) | 50g

Light oven gas mark 5 or 190c. In a bowl, mix together the plain flour, a pinch of salt, margarine & lard to make the pastry base. Line a flan dish with the pastry and put aside. In a different bowl, add the eggs, onion, milk, red pepper, grated cheese & bacon until well combined, then pour into the flan dish. Bake for 35-40 minutes until the pastry is golden and the filling is set.
