HONEY GLAZED HAM


Gammon Joint | 1

Dark Soft Brown Sugar | 275g

Pineapple Juice | 5 Tablespoons

Honey | 5 Tablespoons

Orange (juiced & zested) | 1/3

Dijon Mustard | 2 Tablespoons

Ground Cloves | 1/4 Teaspoon

< METHOD >

Light oven gas mark 3 or 170c. Place the gammon joint in a roasting tin. In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar, pineapple juice, honey, orange juice, orange zest, Dijon mustard and cloves. Bring to the boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. Set aside. Bake ham in pre-heated oven uncovered for 2 hours. Remove ham from oven, and brush with glaze. Bake for an additional 30 to 45 minutes, brushing ham with glaze every 10 minutes.
