FRUIT CAKE

Self Raising Flour | 150g

Margarine | 75g

Caster Sugar | 75g

Dried Fruit | 100g

Cherries | 25g

Egg | 1

< METHOD >

Light oven gas mark 5 or 190c. Grease and line a 20cm circular cake tin. In a mixing bowl, add the flour, margarine, sugar, dried fruit and cherries. Add the egg & 5 tablespoons of water, then whisk until well combined. Bake the cake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and firm to touch.
