BANOFFEE PIE

Biscuit Base;

- Biscuits | 200g

- Margarine | 100g

Filling;

- Bananas | 2

- Caramel | 1 Tin

- Whipping Cream | 240ml

- Chocolate | 1 Bar

< METHOD >


To make the biscuit base; place the margarine in a pan and melt over gentle heat - while the margarine is melting, place the biscuits in a bag or blender and crush until they resemble fine breadcrumbs, add the pan and then mix them together. Once you've done that - place the biscuit mixture into the base of a dish and press down firmly and leave it to set.

It's time to prepare the bananas as the biscuit base cools down - slice the bananas and once the base has set, place them on the biscuit base and start preparing the filling.

To make the filling; open the caramel, pour it into a bowl and mix to soften it - pour the caramel on top of the bananas and place aside. Place the whipping cream in a large bowl and start whipping until it holds shape, once you've done that - spread the cream over the top of the caramel - when completed, decorate the banoffee pie by grating chocolate over the top or applying fresh fruit on top.
