Family Visits (Hong Kong x Reader)

A/N: Apologies for Hong Kong's name. This was written 5 years ago so information about his name wasn't really known! I know it's Leon now but at the time I wasn't aware!

"Why you no tell me that you had girlfriend before?" Yao folded his arms as he looked at Kaoru, who is like a very close teacher to him, concern filling his face.

"I just got a girlfriend... Like two weeks ago," Kaoru explained, trying not to roll his eyes at him.

"I thought you like boy,"

"Emil is just my friend,  I swear,"

"Anyway, I want to see your girlfriend," Yao walked over to him, "Can I see her?"

"Yeah, sure, whatever." Kaoru nodded, pulling his iPhone from his pocket and unlocking the screen. He clicked on the Pictures icon, swiping through a few, yet very embarrassing photos until he finally pulled up a picture of you.

Yao thought you were beautiful, however he couldn't get over the unfamiliar technology. "Why you kids have this, aru? It makes no sense to me."

Kaoru sighed heavily, he resist rolling his eyes anymore, so he did it. "Fine, I guess you can just meet (f/n) in person so you'll just shut up about my iPhone, let me just send her a text to let her know that I'm coming over in a bit." Clicking out of the tab, he went to his messages, your contact being at the top.

'Hey babe, I'm coming over in a bit. Uh,,, I'm bringing my Yao along, is that okay?' Her texted you. With you being a fast typer, you immediately replied,

'Uh, I don't know who that is to be totally honest, but I guess that's fine, as long as my mom likes them he can always hang out with us.'

'Uh yeah... I think he would probably hang out with your mom more than with us. Anyways, I'll be over in a bit'

'Okay babe,'

Kaoru put his phone in his pocket, walking over to the coffee table in the room, grabbing the keys and clicking the button which unlocked the door. From inside, you could still here the little beep the car made as he clicked the button.

"Okay Yao, now I'll be driving you to (f/n)'s house, come on." Walking slow enough at Yao's speed, it took nearly 10 minutes for them both to reach the car in the drive way.

Kaoru hopped into the driver's seat as Yao walked behind the car to get into the passenger seat next to him. He put the key into the slot, twisting it, starting the car. Buckling in, he backed out of the drive through.

About fifteen minutes later, Kaoru arrived to your house, parking on the side of the side walk and walking out, helping Yao out of the car and up the the pathway which led to the front porch.

You saw the two from from the living room window, rushing to your feet you ran to the front door to open it before the even made it completely up.

"Oh, so you're boyfriend is here now, right honey?" You mother shouted from the kitchen.

"No it's the mail man!" You called back sarcastically.

Reaching the front door, Kaoru couldn't help but smile as he saw you. "H-Hi (f/c)!" He said flustered, he couldn't help but get this way around you, he didn't know why, nor did you.

The truth was, he could text the sweetest things to you, feeling confident, but whenever he was supposed to compliment you in person he would just get all flustered and start blushing; you were used to it by now... After two weeks.
