Fireworks (America x Reader)

Hello lovely readers! I'm writing this oneshot now, I tried to get it finished before or on the 4th of July, but I never got to it because I was writing the Netherlands x Reader one.. After more than a week I finally decide to actually publish this.

I shall now write this one! I hope you all had a good 4th of July, or Canada day cx

"Babe, where are we going?" You ask as your crazy loud boyfriend, known as Alfred.

"You'll see, come on! This is going to be so hella rad!" Alfred scooped you up and down the porch steps.

"Oh Alfie..." you roll your eyes playfully.

It was about dark now, you couldn't see anything because Alfred put his hands on top of your eyes.

"We're here! Matthew, get the lawn chairs."

Nodding, Matthew disappeared into the dark going to get the lawn chairs? Why?

"Alfred... why are you doing this?" You looked up at him, a confused expression covering your face.

"Don't be silly! It's the Fourth of July of, course! We're totes going to watch firework and stuff." Alfred rested an arm onto your shoulder.

You looked down, embarrassed. You totally forgot! It was an accident though.

"Oh... right. Why's Matthew here then?" You raise an eyebrow.

"Oh, I'm just bossing him around and he does what I tell him to do. It's brother stuff, y'know." Alfred explained.

Matthew returned with two lawn chairs and a cooler, his bear, Kumajiro carried the other one. The two of them set up the lawn chairs before you all sat down.

"Alfred, which pop would you like, eh?" Matthew opened the cooler.

"Coke of course!"

Matthew sighed, pulling out a can of coke from the cooler and handing it to him. "I should've known. (f/n), what about you?"

"Oh, um. Pepsi, please." You quickly said.

(A/N: did you see what I did there? Haha
HAHAHAHA *disapears*)

Matthew nodded, handing you a Pepsi. "So---"

"Shh! Dude! It's starting!!" Alfred interrupted his brother before he could say anything.

The next thing you knew, there was rather loud noise in the air. You looked up at the night sky, seeing burning fireworks exploding everywhere.

'Oohs' and 'ahs' came from the mouths of people around you as more colorful fireworks exploded.

Alfred was amazed by all the fireworks. You smiled, slithering your hand closer to his and gently holding it.

Your eyes met for a short moment, the two of you smiled at each other before going back to the show.

"(F/n)! Look, it's the last one of the night!" Alfred shook you, pointing up at sky excitedly.

You looked up blankly, not really getting what was so special about this...

Your eyes, the scene above you was absolutely stunning, it was a work of art... It was also for you.

'I love you, (f/n)" read the colorful explosion in the sky, you felt your cheeks turn a few shades of pink. It was the end of the show, but you would truly treasure this one in your heart forever.

All four of you were packing things away, since the show was over now. You stopped and looked at Alfred.

"Alfred, were you the person who arranged things around so you could have this entire show, just for me? Because I see of thought put into all of this."

Alfred blushed a bit. "Well... yes." He admitted, "I wanted to do all of this because-"

"Yeah. I love you too my heroic boyfriend."

"Hey-hmmf!"

You shut him up real fast by slamming your lips against his.

The rest of the night was pretty crazy, if you know what I mean. The thing you didn't know was that Matthew and Kumajiro were there the entire time.

Hello lovely readers, I know that this is rather short but it's easier to write short fics.

I might start making my oneshot this short, what do you guys think?
