Chapter Thirty-four

Wendy's POV

"Do we really have to do this? Bakit hindi na lang kayo mag bato-bato pik para malaman ninyo kung kanino mapupunta ang role?" Tanong ni Markie habang nagwa-warm up sa gilid ng pool.

They decided to do a freestyle relay for the first round ng "challenge" na tinawag ni Genoa na For-the-prince-role Challenge. The coach of Southmoor swimming team let us use the indoor swimming pool dahil panalo naman daw sila sa nationals, thanks to Sandro.

Nasa Team Sandro si Timo at Markie habang nasa Team Ten naman si Dylan at of course, si Lucas.

Luckily, tapos na ang album promotion ng Emperors kaya may time si Timo para tulungan si Sandro sa challenge na 'to.

"Ready na ba ang mga participants? Genoa asked, "My name is Genoa Sy and I am your host."

"Alam namin! Tayo-tayo lang naman ang tao dito." Banat ni Ten kay Genoa.

Genoa raised an eyebrow. "Huwag kang epal! Balik sa puwesto!"

The boys chuckled before getting into position.

I crossed my arms across my chest, waiting for the race to start.

"TAKE YOUR MARKS!" Genoa extended her arm at chest level.

Both teams leaned towards the water, getting ready to dive in.

Beep!

Si Timo ang unang sumabak sa Team Sandro habang Si Dylan naman sa Team Ten.

"Go, Kuya Timo!" Markie cheered for Timo while waiting for his turn.

"Go, Dylan! Woooh!" Ten did the same for his team.

Unang nakahawak sa pader si Dylan, sumunod agad si Lucas sa kanya. Tumalon na rin sa tubig si Markie after ni Timo.

Seryosong pinagmamasdan ni Sandro ang bawat galaw ng teammates niya. Halos hindi na kumukurap.

Nangunguna si Markie, pabilis nang pabilis ang hampas niya sa tubig habang papalapit sa dulo.

Team Sandro is doing a great job.

"Kuya Sandro!" Markie yelled as soon as he touched the wall.

Sandro flew forward off the blocks and into the pool.

Sobrang bilis!

Ten is trying his best to catch up with Sandro's speed,

but it's still not enough.

Sandro is winning...

"Team Sandro won the first round!" Genoa announced when Sandro got to the end of the pool.

"Yes!" Timo gave Markie a high five.

Ten looks disappointed. Tinulungan siya ni Lucas at Dylan umahon sa pool.

"Okay lang 'yan, bawi tayo sa 2nd round." Lucas reassured him.

Meanwhile, Team Sandro is celebrating their first win.

"Welcome to the 2nd round of For-the-prince-role Challenge, participants." Genoa said, she stood up sa gitna ng dalawang team.

Nasa gymnasium kami ngayon for the 2nd round which is basketball. The boys are wearing their jerseys, ang unang team na makaka-ten points ang mananalo sa round na 'to.
