Wendy's POV
"3 points!"
Nagpapapawis ang dalawa ngayon sa court like they usually do.
"Yo, Wendy! Tapos na klase mo?" Lucas asked as soon as he finished drinking the water that I gave him.
I nodded. "Half day lang kami ngayon."
I blurted.
Ten didn't lie though, he still smells really good kahit pawis na pawis siya.
Of course, I won't tell him that.
Lucas cleared his throat. "Ehem, bagay kayo, ehem."
"Aray! Aray! Aray! Aray!" Ten whimpers in pain.
I scoffed. "Kung ano-anong tinuturo mo kay Lucas!" Kaunti na lang matututunan na ni Lucas ang buong vocabulary ni Ten at hindi ako natutuwa do'n.
They are spending too much time together, bad influence pa naman si Ten!
"Excuse me?! Opinyon ni Lucas 'yon! Siya mismo nakapansin na bagay tayong dala---ARAY!" Hinila ko 'yung balahibo niya sa binti since naka-jersey shorts lang siya.
"Foul 'yun, Wendy!" Ten almost cried.
I chuckled when he hugged his legs para protektahan ang balahibo niya mula sa akin.
Lucas gasped loudly habang nakatitig sa phone niya. Ten and I paused our fight, diverting our attention to Lucas.
"Dylan texted me, mamayang gabi na pala ang flight ni Serine. " Lucas suddenly announced.
"Wala pang 2 weeks simula nung nagkabalikan sila ni Sandro magkakahiwalay na naman sila." Lucas realized my presence right after he said that. His eyes' widened, napahawak siya sa bibig niya. "Oops, sorry."
I bit my lower lip. Kaya pala hindi pumasok si Sandro ngayon.
Lucas is right, malulungkot na naman siya pag umalis si Serine.
Serine's POV
"We're here." This is the first thing that Sandro said sa buong biyahe namin on the way to the airport.
He has been extremely quiet since yesterday.
He's holding my hand and my luggage with his other hand. Sandro didn't utter a single word until we reached the gatehouse. We both sat there while waiting for my flight.
I keep on glancing at Sandro. Pinagmamasdan niya lang ang mga taong dumadaan sa harap niya while tapping his fingers on his leg.
I will be gone for 10 months, and yet he doesn't even want to talk to me.
Is it because of Wendy?
I heard they started dating when Sandro and I broke up.
I was shocked because Sandro hasn't dated anyone before me. He didn't even mention their relationship to me when we got back together.
I let out a sigh.
I realized, he isn't the same anymore. Sandro has changed a lot, I know something is bothering him right from the start.
Everytime he looks at me, I feel like he wants to say something, but he's scared of what I might feel.
I don't want him to feel that way anymore.
Locked up with his feelings and unable to speak his thoughts.
He's always been selfless...that's what I love about him,
but I have to let him go now...
for real, this time.
"Do you still love me, Sandro?" I finally asked.
Sandro just stared at me.
He can't even answer it.
"Why did you suddenly ask?" He asked me back.
"Do you still love me?" I repeated my question.
His answer will break my heart, but I have to hear it from him even when it hurts.
Sandro lowered down his head.
"Let's break up, Serine." He said quietly. "I'm already in love with someone else..."
I nodded.
Ah...this is what he felt when I broke up with him.
It's so painful.
There is no tear at all. I hid all those pain inside my heart.
It's my fault. I pushed him away and broke his heart. Wendy was there beside him to put his broken pieces back together. I will not blame Wendy just because Sandro is in love with her.
Letting him go is for the best.
"I understand, Sandro." I reassured him. "Is it Wendy?"
He looked at me in shock when I mentioned her name, he nodded shyly anyway.
"How did you know?" Sandro asked, blushing.
I smiled a little. "I've known you for years, the way you smile every time you mention her name already explains everything.
"Sorry, I didn't tell you about her. I just couldn't figure how." He looks upset.
"It's fine, Sandro." I stood up and extended my arms, asking for a hug.
Just one last hug from him before I go would be enough.
Sandro immediately stood up and pulled me for a tight hug. We stayed in that position for a solid minute before I heard the announcement into the speaker.
'Flight number 1359, flight number 1359, please proceed to Entrance E'
"That's my flight." I told Sandro.
He handed me my luggage. "Take care of yourself, Serine."
"You too, don't ever break up with Wendy." I pinched his cheek. "Everyone likes her, she seems really nice."
Sandro just chuckled. "I know that already."
Oh, I'm going to miss those beautiful dimples of his. "See you again next time, Sandro."
'Flight number 1359, flight number 1359, please proceed to Entrance E'
I let go of his hand and proceeded to the boarding gate.
I turned my back and waved at Sandro for the last time. I realized he was still looking at me when he gave me a blinding smile even from afar.
My tears finally fell after acting strong in front of him for so long.
You are a lucky girl, Wendy.
Please always make him happy.
