Eventually, the rest of the gang had their own dragons. However Astrid was the better of the gang. She had now learnt to do flips and tricks, and was also teaching Stormfly hand signals. Snotlout had the Monstrous Nightmare and named it Hookfang. Let's just say that they didn't get on the best. Snotlout was stubborn and Hookfang even more so. However time will tell if they will become the best friends ever. Fishlegs had the Gronckle whom he named Meatlug. Meatlug and Fishlegs were like two peas in a pod. You couldn't seperate them if the world was about to cave in. The twins got the Hideous Zippleback, which they named Barf and Belch. That was a good and bad thing. Good, because Barf and Belch were so unpredictable that they needed two heads and all four worked great in battle. And bad, because the twins were just as unpredictable.
Everything so far has been running smooth, but something always comes up. Hiccup has learnt that from experience. He visits the dragons at the nest often, but lately has had the oddest feeling of that of being watched. So yesterday Hiccup brought the gang with him. All the dragons were on edge when they arrived, and yet none of them new what was making them nervous. Toothless even said that something was watching them. Legend told Hiccup that he had spotted black, and sometimes blue, and even green, when he kept still with his eyes nearly closed and watched carefully at the icy pillars. However what surprised Hiccup the most was that Legend told him that he 'couldn't control this visitor.' Which leads the gang to consider the fact that the "visitor" might not be a dragon.
"And yet whoever it is.....is so fast and quick!" Another high classed dragon commented to Hiccup. Astrid could tell that Hiccup was worried. These dragons had looked after him for years, and obviously meant a great deal to him. So to hear that something was amiss in this vast nest of dragons was cause for concern.

"Hey Hiccup! What are you doing?" Astrid startled Hiccup who was making sure he had everything for his journey to the nest again.
"Ah...umm....nothing...nothing Astrid. Just..checking supplies." He really stumbled his words. Astrid struck him a questioning glance but didn't say anything. Hiccup casually rummaged through Toothless's saddle bag when a row of spikes flew over his head. Hiccup ducked and turned to Astrid. Another few came and he dodged again, getting further away from a laughing Toothless. Astrid's axe came next Hiccup caught the handle and stood up. Magnesium fire from Stormfly came this time. But Hiccup's cape was fire proof. He dodged around Stormfly and snuck up behind her. Astrid was trying to see through the smoke and spot Hiccup. Toothless told Stormfly not to move when Hiccup comes over. Hiccup snuck around Stormfly and smirked as Astrid growled in frustration. He still held her axe so he gently but swiftly threw it in front of her before jumping behind her in case she was to fall over. She did, and straight into his arms.
"Close. But not quite. You have to lose that temper of yours to succeed well in battle." He told her as she stared into his green eyes that could enter your mind and hypnotise you.
"Who said that I was finished?" Astrid elbowed Hiccup hard in his chest before jumping forward. However Hiccup was on his feet and vaulting above her, landing perfectly balanced in between her and the axe.
"Going somewhere?" He chuckled quietly. But not quiet enough, Astrid turned and walked away. Dumbfounded, Hiccup considered that Astrid felt upset and followed her. Big mistake! Astrid swung around in a very Karate like move with her right leg, and tripped Hiccup over who landed with a thud on his stomach. Astrid grabbed her axe and casually walked over to Hiccup who rolled over onto his back.
"Who's laughing now?"
"Definitely you." Hiccup replied. He kicked the axe out of Astrid's hands. She stumbled forward after it but Hiccup caught her. Once again they were in that awkward position. Little did they realise that the gang and Valka were watching from the edge of the arena.
"So, what now?" Astrid asked calmly. She wasn't going to fight him anymore, Hiccup always wins anyway. Hiccup was staring into her crystal blue eyes, and she into his bright green ones. They told a story to her, a story of something that was indescribable. He edged closer to her. His face inches and then centimetres away. Astrid raised her head forward and they kissed. Neither of them wanted it to end. Hiccup ended the kiss by allowing Astrid to stand on her own feet. She smiled and blushed furiously.
"So that's how you do it?" Toothless cocked his head to the side in a question.
