Chapter 27: Alex  

I put the DVD in and sit back down next to Hunter on the couch. The second I sit down he has his arm around me. I smile and curl into his chest.  

The movie starts and I fall into my usual trance. We were watching a Disney movie, one of my favorites actually, Toy Story. When I was a kid I always wanted my toys to come alive like they do in the movie, but obviously they never did. Well not in front of me of course.   

"Alex?"   

"What?" I pull my eyes from the TV and find Hunter laughing at me. "What!"  

"I was talking to you but your were hypnotized by the TV. Your like a five year old." He had a playfulness in his eye that I missed so much.   

"I am not a five year old! I just ... enjoy watching TV." I sit cross legged in front of him and stick my tongue at him.  

"Yea I can see that," he chuckled, "I was going to ask you something..."  

"Ok shoot." He met my eyes and took my hand in his.  

"Do you really want to be a wolf?" I was a little shocked, but he knew the answer. I texted him about it before, but maybe he wants to see my reaction or something.  

"Well yea. I mean now that I know my parents were werewolves and my brother is one, I feel so disconnected. Like I barely even know them, and if I become a werewolf... I don't know maybe ill feel that connection again. Also I want you Mr. to stop having to worry about me all the time." I poked his stomach and he squirmed. We laughed and before I knew it he was on top of me tickling me.  

"No! HUNTER!!! STOP!!! Ahhhh!"   

"Say you love me!" He kept tickling me, but he's not getting me that easy.  

"Never!" I give him a devilish smirk.  

"Oh now your in trouble!" Uh oh... He found all my weak spots. Behind my knee and the crook of my neck. I was going to pee soon, I have to give in.  

"FINE! Fine! I love you!"  

"What? I didn't quite hear you?"  

"I love you!" Finally he stopped tickling me. He hovers over me as we both catch our breathe.  

"I love you too." He pushes the hair from my face and brings his lips to mine. I start smiling as I kissed him back. Through all the bad, all the horrible stuff going on right now, he still finds a way to make me happy. To put a smile on my face.  

I pull back from the kiss.  

"What you smiling at?" He has his hand is on the side of my face, his thumb rubs my cheek.  

"Nothing. I'm just ... Happy." I have the biggest stupid looking grin on right now but I can't help it. I'm so happy! I don't know why I'm suddenly realizing all of this but it's true he makes me happy.  

"I'm happy too. Alex you will never know how lost I was until I saw you that day in the bathroom." He has this light in his eye as he said that.   

"That day? Hunter it was only... Wait is today Sunday?" He paused a minute, then answered.   

"Yea it's Sunday. Why?" I just remember I have a boat of homework.  

"Shit!" I sit up, Hunter moving back.  

"What?"  

"I forgot, I have so much homework." I look at the clock it's already 11 pm, "I'll never get it done."  

"Hey it's ok we'll just take off school tomorrow. We can do your homework, figure stuff out, and spend the whole day together. How's that sound?"  

"We'll missing one more day of school couldn't hurt." I gave him a cute smirk.  

"Great. Oh I forgot to ask where am I sleeping tonight?" Oh...  

"Um... You can... Um..." Wait where will he sleep? In my room I'm guessing? "Um my room?"  

"Only if your ok with it."  

"We'll we were sleeping together..." Wait that sound like we had sex, "uh I mean like in the same bed, asleep and..."  

"I got it." He gave me a reassuring smile. His smile was so perfect, his teeth so perfect, he seemed so perfect.   

I lean towards him, gently pressing my lips to his. He takes his hands and places them on my waist pulling me into him. I wrap my arms around his neck and fish my fingers thought his messy brown hair. Hunters hands find their way under my shirt to my bare skin on my lower back. With every touch a sweet spark runs through my body. He pulls away slightly from our kiss, leaning his forehead on mine.  

"Alex..." His husky voice saying my name sends a warm current down my spine,  "Are you sure your ready?"  

At first I didn't realize what he was talking about, but then seeing the want in his brown eyes, I knew exactly what he was referring to by 'ready'.  

I am ready. I'm ready to become a wolf and to fully give myself to Hunter. He is the love of my life and I'm ready.   

I nod my head and smile a little. Once he sees my response and confirms my readiness in my eyes, he smashes his lips into mine.

NEXT COUPLE CHAPTER AFTER THIS WILL BE THE LAST BUT THEY ARE GOING TO BE MIND BLOWNING... WELL THATS WHAT IM GOING FOR :)
