Chapter 4: Hunter

I pull out of the parking spot and make my way to the exit of the school parking lot. I glanced over at Alex to find she was already passed out. I smiled she looked so peaceful in sleep. The sun trailed over her fragile body as we turned onto the road. I then realize I don't know where she lives and if she is passed out how will I get into her house? 

  Change of plan. My place. Mom will be shopping. And dad will be at work so it's all good I have the house to myself for the rest of the day. I make a U-turn and start towards my house.  

I pull up in the driveway. I get out if the car and start rummaging through my jean pocket for the house key. Finally I find it and walk up to the front door and open it. I go back to the car and open the passenger seat.   

Alex is all curled up with her arms folded into her chest. Her knees are bent all the way in. She looks adorable when she sleeps. I slowly slide my hands and arms under her and around her back and legs. I slowly pick her up and pull her into my chest. She is weightless in my arms, well that being I have super human strength since I'm a werewolf but still it never seizes to amaze me. 

  As I walk her inside she curls into my chest with a sigh escaping her. Being so close to her, our bodies touching, her being in my arms it feels like magic.   

Alex is my mate. I know she is from the moment I laded eyes on her and when our skin first touched. Also my wolfs reaction was a dead giveaway. Although, what I don't understand is she is a human. Mating is supposed to happen between two wolfs and it is supposed to be impossible for humans since they don't feel the same bond as the wolves do. I have never heard of a wolf and a human mating before and I don't know how my father , let alone my future pack, will take the news. 

I am debating where to put Alex. I don't wanna leave her on the coach, one because its not that comfortable and two because if my father walks in and sees her... Well lets just say it would get interesting. I decide ill just put her in my room.   I walk up the stairs and down the hall towards my door. Inside my room I maneuver over all my clothes and other crap that I still have to clean up. 

  I reach my bed and begin to put her down. But when I let go and begin to walk away I feel her hand grab my wrist. I turn to her and smile.   

"Hey go back to sleep. You need your rest." She just stares into my eye as if she is searching for something.  

"Please don't leave..." She whispers, her voice cracking from a dry throat. I laugh a little when  I hear this. I come and sit down next to her, my bed squeaking under my weight.  

"I'll stay but you have to go sleep." I push the stray hairs from her eyes, as I do this her eyes slowly close and I hear her breathing slow down as she crashes. I wait a few minute, then I slip out the room. Ill let her sleep for a little while I go for a run to let me wolf stretch out. Ill be back before she wakes up.  

 Alex:   

I open my eyes and am blinded by the sunlight shining into the room. Wait room? This isn't my room... Where am I? I try to recall what happened earlier. I got in the car with.... with.... I don't even know his name. And that's it, I fell asleep after that. Great so I let a guy who I don't even know drive my car and take me to... His house? Was this his room? 

  I swing my legs over the side of the bed and get up. Feeling a little light headed I walk slowly to the door taking deep breaths. The floor was messier then mine which is impossible since I'm a complete slob. His room had dark hard wood flooring which was completely covered in clothes, bags, books, and old pizza books... A little gross. The three of the walls were a deep red and one was just of windows, stretching from the ceiling all the way down to the floor. The view was so nice. You could see the dark forest, full of life and scattered with hints of sunlight breaking through the tree tops.    After I was done looking around the room I decide to venture out into the rest of the house. I open the door and sneak through. I turn to shut the door quietly so no one hears me ...
