Chapter 5: Hunter
"Why don't you sit down and ill explain but I have to do something first... It won't hurt I prom... Well I think." I take her head in my hands. Knowing what I must do, I tilt her head to the side slightly. Then I let my wolf take it from there. I watch as I lean down towards her neck and feel my mouth close around her soft skin. I hear her screaming and pray that it's not in pain.

I sink my teeth a little deeper just to make sure the bond is deep enough. Then I lick her neck where I bit it to seal it. She lets out moans as I glide my tongue over her mark. I pull back from her and catch her regaining composure and opening her eyes which was cute. Although with regaining herself she also remembered this was not a normal act for a human and I haven't explained myself yet.

She opens her mouth to begin yelling at me I guess but I cut her off.

"Before you yell at me and storm off with unanswered questions in your head let me explain everything." Her eyes changed. They went from pulsing with anger to being calm which helped prepare me to lay out the wolf history.

I motioned for her to return back into the house so we can sit and she turned and proceeded into the living room. She sat on one side of the couch as I sat in the other side turned towards her.   I take a deep breath. Here goes nothing.

"I am not human Alex. I am a werewolf. I come from a long line of werewolves. My whole family consist of werewolves. We live amongst the humans in secret. Are you keeping up with me so far?" I paused she she could answer. She nodded so I continued.

"My father is a High Alpha, a leader of a pack of werewolves. I am the future High Alpha. My friends are my betas, my protecters and right hand men." Now here comes the hard part. Explaining mating.   "Now wolves have soulmates  or mates for short. Mates are made for each other. What one lacks the other has. It is said that when you find your mate things happen."

"The sparks..." She muttered under her breath.

"Yes the sparks and how when you left art I felt a pain in my gut and I had the urge to find and protect you. I bit your neck because I was marking you. You are now mine. My mate. No other wolf can claim you as their own. Although there is a slight problem..."    She got a look of fear in her eyes and her voice was trembling.

"What problem?"

"Well since your human... Um well wolves are supposed to mate with other wolves not humans. It has never happens before and I don't know if it is possible."

"Then why did you bite me?!" She was getting angry by me not being able to give her the straight answer she wanted.

"I wanted to mark you because I know deep down you are my mate. Did the bite hurt?" I ask in curiosity.   She takes her hand and rubs the mark.

"No"

"Then why were you screaming?"

"Because people don't bite other people Hunter! They also, last time I checked, don't turn into giant wolf thingys!"

"I'm sorry if I scared you but Alex I can't control my wolf. He wanted to mark you so he did."   She sat there in silence thinking over everything I just told her. A couple times opening her mouth like she was going to ask something then closing it. She finally said something.

"Does this mean I'm going to turn into a wolf too?" I didn't know the answer to that to he honest.

"No I don't think so like I said I have never heard of a wolf and human pair. To turn you would probably only happen after I claimed you."

"Claimed?" She asked curiously. I forgot to mention that and it would have been smarter and less awkward if I left that part out.

"Um yea.... Claiming is when you.... Well when we would.... Do it." This was really uncomfortable to say.
