15. Sir

It had been three days since I had gotten to the nursery

I remember the nurse saying that the pain would be gone by the second or third day

Well, she was right

But the embarrassment I felt didn't

I had to go to back soon

Around lunch time, there was a knock on the door

I thought it was Olivia (the nurse) so I just laid back

"Hey"

I looked up to see Cris

He smiled and got in, closing the door behind him

"Hey." I said, turning to look at him

He was wearing his usual black T-Shirt and pants, and he was holding something in his hands-a small box

I sighed and fell back on the bed

"Cris, you don't have to feel guilty-"

"No. No. I do. I just want to say I am sorry. I really am. And I brought you cake." he said, giving me the box

I chuckled

"You didn't have to." I said, opening it up

A piece of chocolate cake was inside

"I did. Lisa told me that the food here sucks."

"It does," I said with a laugh

"Eat up, then" he said, handing me a fork

I took it in my hand with a sigh "I am not really hungry now-"

"You need to eat. It's delicious," he said, taking a seat next to me on the bed

Well, he wasn't going anywhere soon

"I know it is, Cris."

"If you don't start eating in ten seconds, I will take the fork and feed you myself"

"Whatever, mom" I muttered and started eating

I smiled to myself "Thanks. And again, you had to do it. Don't feel guilty."

"I wish I could just punch that guy in the face."

I laughed and continued

"I am coming back today," I said as I finished the cake

"Wait, isn't this too soon?" he asked

I shook my head

"Are you sure?" 

I nodded

"You should go. I will find you there. And thanks for the cake" I said

"Um, you have some-"

He brushed his thumb on the corner of my mouth with a chuckle

"Cake" he finished as he stood up

I bit my lip and raised my eyebrows in surprise

"See you there, " he said, getting out of the door

Once I got back to the dorm, I showered, enjoying the water running down my body

I brushed my hair, put it up in a tight ponytail  and changed into some clothes
