20. Visit Day

"I can't believe it! Finally, it's visit day. I can't wait for my dad to come. He will love the place, I know he will.Well at least I hope he will-" Jocelyn said with excitement in her voice as she sat next to me on her bed

"You're the only one that is so happy for today." Josh muttered as he took off his shirt, throwing it at her

She groaned as it fell on her face and then threw it on the ground

"Gross! You're such a child Josh." she muttered 

He laughed and put on another one

"What about your mom?" I suddenly asked, turning to look at her

She bit her lip and then smiled

"She disappeared when I was four. I never saw her since," she stated looking down 

"She was Dauntless, you know. Even if she transferred to Candor. My dad always said that she was the honest Dauntless. I wish I could remember her."

I turned to look at her, once again

When she looked up, I side smiled and gave her shoulder a squeeze

"What about you? Aren't your parents coming?" she asked

I shrugged "I don't think so."

"Why?"Cris asked 

"They probably hate me now. The funny thing is, my mom was a transfer to Amity."

"Where did they transfer from?"

I chuckled

"I don't know. She never said." I stated with a sigh, getting up from the bed

"That's strange." 

I nodded and started changing into some clothes

Black boots, Skinny Jeans, a Black T-Shirt and a leather Jacket that Dana had given me, saying that every Dauntless had to have one of those badass Jackets

I remember laughing like crazy when she said that, her expression serious

I let my hair down, for the first time in forever-honestly it felt nice

"I love your hair." Lisa said as she wore her shoes

I rolled my eyes

"I wish I had the guts to dye it or cut it really short" I stated 

"I was thinking of doing that one of these days." Jocelyn said, taking a strand of hair between her fingers, and examining it with a pout

"Your hair is amazing, Don't change it. Anyways, I want a new tattoo." I stated

"We should go tomorrow." She said with a wink as we all got out of the dorm, heading to the cafeteria

"Faction before Blood." Max finished his speech-we were currently at the Pit, waiting for the families to arrive

The first people to arrive were Lisa's mom, dad and little brother

Little Damon was a good friend of my sister, Lizzie

I used to take Lizzie to the park, and just watched her play with Damon-carefree and happy

I wish I could go back to being a child-back then I didn't care about anything

They took turns hugging Lisa, her mom talking louder than normal "Oh, how much you've grown, my love! You look beautiful"

"Mom, look! It's Saraphine!" Damon exclaimed as his eyes fell on me
