Brooke belum juga baikan sampe hari ini. Udah dua hari dia cuma tiduran di tempat tidur. Kemaren gue sempet pura-pura ngambek supaya dia mau ke dokter, tapi ngga ngaruh. Dan hari ini, gue memutuskan untuk telfon dokter tanpa sepengetahuan Brooke. Jam 8 si Dokter akhirnya dateng. Gue sama Dokter langsung ke kamar Brooke. Sssh, quiet, she's still sleeping.

"Uh, w-what is this?" Brooke akhirnya kebangun. Gue jongkok di sebelah tempat tidurnya.

"I don't wanna see you sick." bisik gue. Dia menghela nafas. Gue cium keningnya.

"Hm, you got a fever, I'll give you the medicine and take it twice a day." kata dokter.

"Thank you, Doc." kata Brooke.

"Okay, I hope you get recover soon." katanya.

"Thank you so much, Doc." kata gue.

"You're welcome." katanya. Gue nganterin Dokter ke luar lalu balik ke kamar Brooke.

"And, you're welcome." kata gue. Brooke menghela nafas.

"Yeah, sweetheart?" tanya gue menggoda.

"Come here." katanya. Gue duduk di sebelahnya. Guess what? She pulled me against her and pressed her warm lips on mine. So hard.

"It's almost Christmas Eve, Oh My God." kata Brooke waktu kita makan malem. Dia udah bisa duduk agak lama. And I'm so grateful for it.

"He can talk alot with Brooke." kata Mrs. Caitlyn. Gue blushing.

"So, tell me about your school or something. Pretending like I'm your dad. It's okay." katanya.

"You can tell us about your first meeting with Brooke." kata Mrs. Caitlyn.

"Uh, well, I met her when she was..." tiba-tiba Brooke nginjek kaki gue. Oh, I get it. She doesn't want me to tell about Justin.

"When she was doing her tasks for school orientation. And uh, I talked to her, she talked to me, like there's no obstacle between us, and we got closer and closer everyday, and yeah, I realized that I adore her so much, so I told her that I want her to be my girlfriend. Sorry, Sir, Ma'am." kata gue jujur.

"Wow, you guys are so cute together." kata Mr. Frank. Seumur-umur gue gapernah ketemu bapak kek gini. Sumpah, baik banget.

"Yeah, I'm agree. When I see you guys, I remember my old memories with you, honey." kata Mrs. Caitlyn lalu ngelirik suaminya.

"I feel so lucky to have him." kata Brooke tiba-tiba. Dia ngelirik gue lalu nyengir. Just like her mom did to her husband.
