Chapter Thirty Six
"I'm your mate!" Lucas spoke.
I blinked back tears, "Blade?"
My voice shook with my pleading question.
"Avery he's not your mate." Blade made a attempt to come closer to me.
Adam, Will, and Jake all circled me. Blocking Blades way to make contact with me, but still in sight.
"Lucas if your her mate then what is your proof?" Adams voice held authority.
Blade became incredibly still.
"Princess you remember what you felt when you drank from me?" Lucas's eyes were locked with mine. "You remember what you feel when we touch."
I starred at him, the memory of Lucas's touch gave me. His touch was thrilling, electrical, and made me go into a frenzy. His touch brought a fire within me no one else could. I gave a small nod towards him, my heart dropping.
Blade came back to reality as if he was awaken from a trance. He became more furious, rage dangerously growing in his eyes. He quickly ran towards Lucas grabbing him by the throat and lifting him off the ground.
"Tell her the truth!" Blade yelled, tossing Lucas a few feet away.
Lucas crashed into a small end table, breaking it to pieces. Within a blink of the normal eye Lucas was on Blade. If I was a human I wouldn't have seen him make his way to Blade. Lucas threw a unexpected punch to Blades jaw then a kick to his lower stomach.
Blade recovered quickly, throwing his own punch to Lucas's chin. Lucas head went back, falling. Blade struck with his foot hitting Lucas chest. Lucas called out in pain. My heart seized to a stop when Blade began to choke the life out of Lucas.
"Adam," I breathe panicked "Stop them please. I care about both of them."
Adam looked torn but nudged Jake to help him. Adam grabbed Lucas while Will and Jake grabbed Blade. Both the men I cared about tried their damn ets to get to the other.
"Avery!" A female voice yelled.
Amber walked into the trashed room. She glanced at the scene around us. Tears streaming down my face, Amber walked towards me after glancing at Adam. My brother frowned, uncertain as to why Amber was here.
