Chapter Four
Pic of Maddison aka Maddy
It's finally Friday and I get to skip school to go shopping with my mom, Maddy, and all my aunts plus Katrina. I got out of bed to get ready, showering. When I was done I straightened my hair and did my make up, going for a natural look.
I did a light shade of tan and brushed my eye lashes with mascara. I slipped on some jeans and a blue tank top. Pulling a black hoodie over me. I walked down stairs, grabbing a bottle of blood to go.
I have managed to avoid Lucas since the car incident. He tried every way possible to get me to talk to him. I always blowed him off dashing into other rooms an running away from him. Today will be easier since he is helping everyone set up the massive ball room for mine and Adam's birthday party.
"Hey Avery you ready to go?" Maddy smiled.
Maddy was rocking her long curly strawberry hair in a high ponytail. She wore a simple black sweater with white jeans, and black and white wedged boots. Her make up was done in gray eye shadow, pink lip gloss, and black mascara.
"Yeah let's go meet everyone." I smiled.
"Mom is waiting with your mom for us. Dad is with your dad going to buy some suites and ties with the boys." Maddy smiled.
"Okay."
We meet up with everyone in the main entrance of the kingdom. My dad had assigned some body guards for us. They were waiting in our cars. Me and Maddy would take a car. Mom and aunt Ali in a different car. Katrina and aunt Samantha in a different car.
Mom and aunt Ali's car pulled up firsts, then Katrina and aunt Samantha's car. Mine and Maddy's pulled up last. We all hopped in, closing the door.
"Hey beautiful." The driver smirked at me.
He had on dark sun glasses, a button up white shirt leaving the top two buttons undone. Wait a minute. I know that voice!
I groaned frowning, "Lucas."
Maddy smirked, looking out the window. Ignoring everything around her.
"What are you doing here?" I sneered.
"I'm your personal security guard." He removed his shades, folding them in his short pocket. "Which I am also your personal blood donor as well. I could leave you alone to get thirsty."
"Couldn't my dad find someone else to be my body guard? Anyone else!" I whined more to myself then anything.
"I offered my services." Lucas winked.
I cursed at him under my breathe. Maddy looked at me, amused. I gave her a don't-look-at-me-like-that look. She smiled then faced the window while I turned to look out mine. The car ride was quiet when we parked in a big parking lot out side a dress shop.
Lucas got out opening Maddy's door. She stepped out of the car. He held his hand out for me to take, I declined and crawled out behind Maddy. Me and Maddy locked arms and made our way towards the store. Lucas followed close behind us.
We entered the store, reading Dazzling Dits. Everyone was already looking through the racks of dresses. I ran towards a rack of drop waist dresses. I looked through them, until I found several that I liked. Too bad uncle Matt wasn't here. He always helped me narrow my choices down to find the perfect one.
I struggled to carry my choices. Lucas took them from me, draping them over his arm then following me to a dressing room. After he hung them up I made him leave locking the door. I quickly undressed from my clothes.
