Chapter 36.2

The End Of The Past: Stormy Cold Night

Luke lead me to his car. Binuksan niya ang pinto sa passenger seat and I didn't hesitate to climb inside but I flinched when he slammed the door close. My eyes started to swell again. I gulped a few times para hindi matuloy ang paghikbi ko.

I waited for him to be behind the wheel.

"Luke, I-"

"Stop," he cut me off.

"But-"

"Just stop," his said with a cold voice.

He didn't even look my way. He turned the engine on and he gripped the steering wheel.

I instantly knew that his rage hasn't subsided yet. Naiintindihan ko naman. Alam ko kasalanan ko. My stupid revenge and plan had backfired on me. I would wait until he learns to forgive me and everything that I have done.

Malakas pa rin ang ulan but he didn't seem to minnd. I wanted to tell him to slow down but again, I chose to keep mum.

The valet rushed toward him and he gave him his car keys. I walked behind him.

The receptionists couldn't hide the surprised look on their faces upon seeing us but I couldn't care less.

"A room," Luke said in a flat tone. He produced his credit from the inside of his coat.

He and the receptionist talked briefly about the details our stay pero halos hindi ko na maintindihan ang usapan nila.

Nang maibalik sa kanya ang credit card niya, he turned and made his way toward the direction of the elevator. Again, I followed him.

When we reached the room, he swiped his card and he opened the door. He took me by surprise when he reached for my hand and then he dragged me inside and he slammed the door behind us and then he pushed me against the wall. Inilagay niya sa magkabila kong gilid ang mga kamay niya, effectively trapping me between him and the wall.
My heart started fast.

I shivered with fear but not because I was afraid that his fist would land on my face.

But he just shove me away as he continued to punch the concrete wall.

"F*ck it! F*ck it!" He shouted.

I started to cry again. "L-luke please... Tama na..." I begged but it seemed like he wasn't hearing me.

"I love you! I love you so damn much, I took a risk again. I opened myself to you pero anong ginawa mo? You werejust playing me all along!" I threw one last punch on the wall before he turned and faced me. He held my shoulders and I couldn't help but wince. "I told you everything. I told you my past. I told you what I've been through! I told you what I'm like, that I am a good for nothing troublesome, f*cked up son of a b*tch! You knew how damaged of a bastard I am. I thought you're gonna fix me but f*ck you, you damaged me even more! You destroyed me."
