Chapter Sixteen

We head to the airport and Soph and I head to the Bahamas sign so we can get a picture. Fiji is our last stop on our adventures then we are just going to do random fun things as BFF’s. I take a picture of Soph and Kell and she takes a picture of Josh and I. We sit in the seats and talk about what we will do in Fiji. We look over pictures of the resort. It is so beautiful. We get on our plane to Fiji and I sit with Josh and Kell and Soph sit together. Josh and I watch movies on Netflix on my laptop and soon after I put my head on his shoulder and fall asleep. I wake up and Soph is asleep with her head leaning on Kell’s shoulder. Josh is awake and he smiles at me. “Sorry to fall asleep on you.” I say smiling. “It’s fine.” He says smiling. I get my laptop and check to see what’s going on in the US. I see photos of Josh and I and photos of Kell and Soph with headlines like, “Kellan and his mystery woman.” “Josh and some girl.” “Kellan has a new girl?” “Josh finally has a new girlfriend?” I try to close out of the page before Josh can see but he does. He smiles, "Babe, don't let paparrazi get you down. They can think what they want." He says grabbing my hand.

We get off the plane and a car takes us to a dock. Then a boat takes us to the Poseidon Undersea Resort, it is its on island. The boat docks and we go to check in. We got two Penthouse suites. We get our key cards and our elevator tickets and we head down the elevator. The elevator takes us underwater and we can see fish swimming all around. After getting off the elevator we walk down a hallway and find our rooms. Soph and I will be staying in one room while Josh and Kell stay in the other. When Soph and I get in our room we drop our bags and stare at the wall. It’s a plexi-glass wall, coral lines the ocean floor and fish swim all around. It’s absolutely beautiful. Soph and I take in all the beautiful scenery. After a while we invite Kell and Josh over.

“So I was thinking, Soph we need to tell the public that we are dating and Josh and Amanda need to tell the public as well. So Josh and I were talking and we are doing a new movie together that we need to get out there we were going to be on Good Morning America we were wondering if you guys would like to come with us and after our interview about the movie we could bring you guys out and tell the world about us.” Kell finishes. I look at Josh and smile. “I’m in.” I say and kiss Josh. “Ok. I’m in.” Soph says. “Ok. I’ll call GMA.” Kell says and heads to his room. A few minutes later Kell comes back and says that it’s all set up. I leave the room to Soph and Kell to let them talk about what they want to say and Josh and I head over to his room.

“So what do we say?” I ask. “Well they are bound to ask. We are all over newspapers and magazines. So we can say…” Josh stops. “We can say that Kell and Soph set us up together and we hit things off. We started to date and I feel like we have known each other forever. It will sound a lot better when we are actually at the interview.” He say smiling. “Ok. I’m just really glad that Soph and Kell set us up, I’m really glad that I met you and we are together!” I say. “I’m glad to too. I really like you!” He says and kissing me. We talk about random things and we head down to the café. I get a salad and some coffee and Josh gets a sandwich and water. After we eat we head back to my room, where Soph and Kell are still talking. “Hey guys!” I say. “Oh hey Manda!” Soph says. “I’m hungry.” Kell says. “Go get food at the café. Josh and I did. There food isn’t bad.” I say. “Let’s go get food Soph.” Kell says. He grabs Soph’s hand and they leave the room. Josh and I watch a movie and we watch the fish swim around. After a while I fall asleep on Josh’s shoulder.

“Manda! Wake up!” Soph says shaking me. “What?” I groan. “You’ve been sleeping for hours. It’s like four in the afternoon get up!” She says hitting me with a pillow. “Ok, ok.” I say getting up. “I want something sweet!” she says looking at me with puppy dog eyes. I look at her. “Come on, pastry chef.” She says smiling. “Damn my amazing baking skills!” I say jokingly. There is an oven in the room and a kitchen aid mixer. The kitchen is fully stocked with ingredients to make a cake. “What kind of cake do you want?” I ask. “Red velvet with cream cheese frosting.” She says. “ok, your highness.” I say playfully bowing. “Haha.” She says smiling. I put the ingredients in the bowl and mix it together. I put the batter in the two pans and place them in the oven. I clean the bowl in the sink and begin to make the cream cheese frosting. I put the ingredients in the bowl and mix it together. By the time I’m done making the frosting the cakes are done baking. I take the cakes out of the oven and place them on counter. I put the frosting in the icing bag and place it in the fridge.

I’m done decorating the cake and I place it on the counter. I walk over to Kell and Josh’s room. I knock on the door and Josh opens it. “Hey babe, what’s up?” He asks. “Would you and Kell like to come over for some red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting that I just made?” I ask. “Hell yes! Kellan let’s go!” He says. They come over and the four of us eat my cake. “This is amazing Manda!” Soph says. “Thanks.” I say. “This is really good!” Josh says. “Thanks, I am a pastry chef in training.” I say smiling.  Kell and Josh leave after a while and I go to bed at 9:30. I fall asleep after staring at the coral dance in the current.
