When I wake up I find a note on my door. “Hey babe! I have rehearsals all day. I thought I had the day off but I don’t. I’ll be home before you leave! Love, Josh.” Ugh, I sigh. This sucks. I go to the bathroom and brush my hair and teeth and wash my face. I leave my room and head down the hall. I pass Soph’s door and see a note attached to her door. I don’t read it, I head downstairs and grab a mug and get some coffee. This day is going to suck. I hear footsteps and Soph comes into view. “Ugh can you believe this! Kell has rehearsals all day.” She says throwing the note at me. “That’s weird. I have that same exact note from Josh.” I say showing her the exact same note. “Huh, anyway, what are we doing today?” She asks sipping tea. “I don’t kn.” I’m cut off to my phone buzzing. It’s Jen. “Put on a dress, makeup, heels and get yourself pretty! We are going out!” The text reads. I’m about to speak when Soph’s phone buzzes, it’s from Ashley Greene. Her and Soph have become friends. It reads the same thing. “Ok, something sketchy is going on.” Soph says. “I agree. Let’s just do what the text says.” I say. I head up to my room and put on a lavender chiffon side draping, criss cross dress with thin straps. I curl my hair and grab a pair of silver glitter pumps. I get a pair of sparkling dangly pearl diamond earrings and a necklace to match. I put on glitter eye shadow and mascara. It took about an hour. When I come out of my room about an hour later Soph is coming out of her room. She turns and looks at me. She looks stunning in a classy yet modern coral ruffle dress. She has on black stilettos, black feather earrings and carries a black clutch. “Where are we supposed to go?” Soph asks. “I don’t kn.” I’m cut off again by the doorbell ringing.

We go down to the stairs and open the door. Ashley and Jen stand in front of us looking stunning and head us a box and leave. “Where are you going?” I shout. “Just do whatever is in the box says.” Ashley says and they leave. “What the hell is going on?” Soph asks me. “I have no clue.” I say closing the door. We go into the kitchen and open the box. In the box are two red roses, one for Soph, one for me. A note is attached to each rose. I grab my rose and the note reads, “A lovely rose for my lovely girlfriend. Go to this address.” Soph’s reads the same thing. We jump in my car and head to the address.

When we pull up to the location it’s the photo of Josh, Kellan, Soph and I from yesterday from our paint war. We walk up to the massive photo and a box sits on the ground. I open the box and find a postcard from Venice beach. “Seriously, do you know what’s going on?” I ask Soph. “No, I have no clue.” She says. “Do you know where this is?” I ask. “Yeah, let’s go.” She says. We get in my car and head to the location. When we stop the car and park I hold up the postcard to the horizon. This is the place. Soph and I take off our heels and start walking in the sand. We see arrows in the sand and follow them to a gazebo in the sand; lights are dangling from the roof of the gazebo. We walk into the gazebo and there is a note that reads, “Close your eyes.” We look at each other and close our eyes. Someone grabs me from behind and I open my eyes, Josh. I kiss him and rest my head on his chest. “I thought you had rehearsals.” I say. “I was lying Kellan and I were planning this.” He says. He kisses me again. “I love you.” I say. The words just came out of my mouth before my mind could think. He kisses me again and whispers, “I love you too.” We sit down at the table and I hold his hand tightly. Kellan and Soph sit down and the food is brought out. We have salads and wine, except Soph who drinks water. We eat and talk. After we eat we head towards the water. I walk hand in hand down the beach, the waves crashing against our feet. It’s about one o’clock. Kell and Soph are still at the gazebo. “I’m going to miss you like crazy.” Josh says. “I’m going to miss you too!” I say. “I can come visit. I go to Baltimore all the time.” He says smiling. “Good.” I say. We continue walking for a while.

“I want to play volleyball!” Soph says. “In our dresses?” I ask. “We could go change. The house is a block away.” Soph says. “We’ll be back boys.” I say. Soph and I run home and change into our bikinis and head back toward the beach. When we get back to the beach the boys are bumping the volleyball back and forth. “Soph and I on a team and you guys on a team.” I say. “Your on!” Josh says. “Please we both played volleyball!” Soph says. I serve first, over hand. I got a wicked over hand during high school. The boys miss it and Soph and I do a high five and say “Ace.” The boys look at each other and we continue to play. When the score is 24 to 22 with Soph and I winning, Kell and Josh get there game faces on. It’s the final point for us and I’m serving. I do my perfected over hand serve and they miss it, Soph and I do a victory dance. “We let you win!” Kellan says. “Yeah right, we totally beat you!” Soph brags. We head back to the gazebo and have dessert.

We head to the water. We swim and have a ton of fun. After a while we all get out and Soph and I lie on the sand to tan. We can’t tan because Josh and Kellan keep throwing the volleyball at us. After our failed attempt at tanning we all walk down the beach talking and kicking sand at each other. Unfortunately the day must end. We head to back to the house and Soph and I pack. Our bags are packed and at the door. We are leaving in an hour to head to New York so I can pack the rest of my things for our trip to Baltimore.

When it’s about 11:00 pm Kell and Josh drive us to the airport. “I love you so much!” Josh says kissing me. I hug him and Soph and I head to get our tickets. After an hour wait they call our flight. Soph and I get on the plane and I go to sleep, after a great day with my boyfriend.
