Chapter Forty-Nine

I wake with a smile on my face but come to the realization that today is our last full day of our honeymoon. I see the sun just about to rise, Josh is still sleeping. I silently get out of bed and enter the kitchen. I decide to make him breakfast this time. I make him French toast, nothing special and coffee. He wakes when I'm pouring the coffee. "You didn't have to make breakfast." Josh states. "You've made breakfast everyday, it was my turn." I say. He sits at the small glass table and we eat together. "So today is our last day." I say with a slight frown. "Yes but I have a great day planned for us!" He says smiling. I smile, "What is the attire for this great day?" I ask. "Date wear, but comfortable." He states. I nod. After my shower I put on a cheetah print romper from H&M and black sandals. I put my hair up in a high bun and put on a small amount of makeup. Josh comes into the room as I'm checking over my outfit in the full length mirror. "You look perfect, just like always." He says pulling me into an embrace. "It's time to start our great day!" He says grabbing my hand.

Josh takes me to a part of the beach I've never seen before. There is a giant gazebo with tiki torches leading the way. We step inside and find a comfy outdoor couch. I see a large screen hung. Josh grabs a remote control. "Sophia and I have been making this video since I proposed." He says. I smile. He turns the video on. The video starts off with videos of Josh and I when we first starting dating. My graduation. Then our many vacations, Fiji to New York to California to Paris. The next part of the video is Josh, Kellan, Sophia and I in Paris where Kellan proposed, to the photo of Soph and I with our rings. Then a montage of photos of us together. Our paint war photos brings a smile to my face. Then there's a video I've never seen before, Josh's proposal. It brings tears to my eyes, I'm not sure why. After the proposal is photos of the magazines speculating our engagement. More tears come when I watch our wedding. I don't know why I'm so emotional, maybe the fact that I love him so much. After the wedding video there are photos of Josh and I on our honeymoon, the photos I sent Soph. The video ends with 'Happily Ever After' I smile. The video was about two hours, so it's about 3pm. "Josh that was amazing, thank you!" I say kissing him. "I'm glad you liked it!" He says with a charming smile.

We head back to the suite. "Your final surprise will be later, until then what would you like to do Mrs. Hutcherson?" He asks. "I don't know." I say with a slight laugh. "Do you want to watch a movie?" He asks. "I have the perfect movie!" I say grabbing The Hunger Games. "Ugh, I don't know that Peeta guy seems to handsome!" Josh says. "No, I just think its the person who plays him... Now he's handsome!" I say smiling. I watch The Hunger Games curled up in Josh's embrace. "I wonder what's going to happen to that Peeta guy?" He asks. I laugh, "this!" I say kissing him. He smiles. "I love you!" "I love you too!" I say kissing him again.

It's time for my final surprise. I'm not sure how Josh can top the other surprises. We arrive at the same gazebo only difference is that it looks exactly like the reception hall, with a glowing chandeliers and purple light along with romantic songs playing in the background. The gazebo has been turned into a romantic date. I smile. We sit and have a romantic dinner. He definitely topped all the other surprises, it reminds me so much of our reception. "May I have this dance Mrs. Hutcherson?" He asks as 'A Thousand Years' softly plays. He pulls me into his arms and we dance to my favorite songs. After hours of dancing in the moonlight we head out to the beach to lay out among the stars.

We lay in the sand I listen to the beat of Josh's heart along with the slow crash of the waves. Josh plays with my hair. "Amanda?" "Yes?" I ask. "You know, when I met you the first thought to go through my mind was, she'll be in my life forever, this is the girl I've been waiting for!" He whispers. I smile. "My first thought was, Can someone pinch me I'm dreaming, I've found the love of my life!" I say. "I love you so much, you know that right?" He asks. I smile, "I know that! I love you too Josh!" I say kissing him.

We head back to the suite. I climb into bed and Josh pulls me into his embrace. "Was this honeymoon everything you dreamed about?" He asks. "Everything and more!" I reply. He smiles and kisses me. "Goodnight my beautiful wife." He says kissing the top of my head. "Goodnight my handsome husband." I whisper. I fall asleep listening to the steady beat of my husbands heart.
