Chapter Fifty-Four

I can't believe it, my best friend is getting married tomorrow. I'm sitting in her room with her bridesmaids, Alyssa, Victoria, Molly, and Katie and we are chatting about the wedding tomorrow. Sophia's mom is with Sophia in her closet along with Kellan's mom and sister. Sophia and the other ladies come out into the room. "So bridesmaids, we are going to have a very relaxing day today. We are just going to sit in Sophia's beautiful home and share memories and just not worry about anything. And absolutely no cell phones or internet. We are just going to have a relaxing day with Sophia, because tomorrow is obviously going to be stressful." Sophia's mother states. "Oh and hand over those cell phones." Sophia and I exchange a look but I do give her my iPhone.

All of us ladies are sitting around with photo albums, cupcakes, and wine while soft music plays in the background. Me being stupid forgot to put my iPhone and silent and it starts to ring. I go to check it when I get a glare from Sophia's grandmother who showed up a little while ago. I sit back down and gulp my wine. We are talking about old memories and having a relaxing time when Sophia bursts into tears.

"Soph." We all say running to her. "I'm so excited and nervous and happy and I just can't believe all of these wonderful things are happening and I'm so glad that you're all here with me!" She says as she lightly sobs. "Oh Soph, of course we are here! We all love you!" A few if us say. She smiles. And then laughs. "Why the hell am I crying?" She says laughing at herself more. We all start laughing and believe it or not but it's already 10 at night. We all head to where we are sleeping. I give Soph a hug before she heads to her room.

I get my phone back and see a few missed calls from Josh. I text him saying that my phone was taken but he doesn't respond, he's probably asleep. I text Soph, "Happy Wedding Day! I'm so excited for you! Love you best friend!" She replies with a heart and I decide it would be best if I go to sleep. I fall asleep smiling knowing that my best friend is getting married tomorrow!
