Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and my mom, dad and sister are coming to meet Josh. Before I go to sleep I set my alarm for 7:00, which is the time I have to get up to pick up my parents at the airport. At 7 my alarm goes off and I get up with a groan. Josh is already up and I can smell the coffee. I get a quick shower and put on leggings and an over sized sweater. I head downstairs and I’m greeted to a kiss and coffee. “Thank you!” I say hugging him. “We should get to the airport. My car or yours?” He asks. “Well, I think they’d rather be picked up in my Land Rover then your Jeep.” I say. “Oh whatever.” He says throwing my keys. We get to the airport and I see my sister and parents. I hug them and to my surprise Josh hugs my mom and sister and gives my dad a handshake. When we get to our house my mom let’s out a little gasp. I show my parents around the house and we all head into the kitchen. “Are you guys going to ask questions tonight or tomorrow?” I ask with a smile. “Tomorrow. I think we should just catch up today.” My dad says. We head into the living room and talk for hours. Before I know it I’m heading to bed.

When I wake in the morning no one is awake but me and I'm getting texts from Soph asking if she can come over for a while before she heads to the airport to pick up her mom and grandmother. Soph and I sit in the kitchen talking as we sip coffee before anyone gets up. Josh is the first to wake. “I woke when I realized you weren’t there.” Josh says kissing me. The three of us sit around and everyone else is soon awake. Soph hugs my mom and sister and we talk for a while before she leaves.

When the Thanksgiving dinner is ready we all sit around the dining room table. We enjoy the amazing food and head into the living room to talk. “You better treat my daughter right.” My dad says protectively. “I will, I’ve never loved someone more than I love her.” Josh says. My mom smiles and my sister rolls her eyes. We talk into the wee hours of the night and we head to bed because they leave in the morning. When I wake in the morning we head to the airport. I hug my parents and sister and they leave. Josh and I head back home. We have to get some wedding stuff straight.

“So what’s our color scheme?” Josh asks. “Lavender, is that ok?” I ask. “Perfect, like you.” He says kissing me. This kiss reminds me of our first kiss, the one that makes you forget about everything around you as if the world just stops. “Where are we having the wedding?” I ask. “I was thinking we should have it on the beach but we should fly your priest from your church in Pennsylvania.” Josh says. “Are you serious?” I ask. “Yeah, I mean. I think that would be really special.” Josh says grabbing my hand. I smile. We finish most of the things for the wedding except for the cake. My phone starts to ring and I see its Tiffany. “Hey Tiff! What’s up?” I say. “Well, I know this might sound weird, but I really want to make your wedding cake!” She says. “Get over to my house!” I say and hang up. “What did Tiff want?” Josh asks. “She wants to make our wedding cake.” I say. “That’s an awesome idea!” He says. “I know, I invited her over to talk about it.” I say. When Tiff comes over we sit in the kitchen and she shows us the drawings she’s made for our cake. I smile at the drawings. “Did you draw these?” I ask. “Well, yeah. I drew four different cakes. So you guys need to pick one.” Tiff says. Josh and I look over the drawings. “How did you know that the color was lavender?” I ask. “I took a guess, I mean, its you!” She says with a smile. Josh and I look over the drawings and choose an elegant cake. A five tiered cake with a lavender base color and elegant designs all over in a silver gray and glittering crystals. The cake reminds me of the bridesmaid outfits. The lavender bridesmaid dress and the peep toe silver gray pumps with crystal bows. “This one?” I ask. “Yes, I love that one!” He says. I pass Tiff the drawing back. “Looks like it’s this one!” I say. Tiffany leaves and Josh and I look over everything to make sure it’s all perfect. Our wedding may be seven months away, but we just want to make sure everything’s figured out.

I decide to give Soph a call and we decide to go shopping, Christmas is coming up and we want to go shopping for our men. We head to a bunch of stores and find nothing for Kellan or Josh and buy things for ourselves. She has to leave because she has work so I sit in the living room watching Entertainment Tonight. They start talking about Josh and I and how we were kissing on the set of his new movie, ‘Paradise Lost’. He comes in just as they start talking about something else. “Your parents are really amazing!” He says. “I know. I’m looking forward to seeing your family over Christmas.” I say smiling. “Connor will be annoying, just warning you.” He says with a laugh. “What did you think of my sister?” I ask. “Um, well… she’s you know…” He stutters. “It’s okay, you don’t have to like her.” I say laughing. “No, she intimidates me.” He admits. I make a puzzled face. “Oh my goodness. The great Josh Hutcherson is intimidated by my sister.” I say with a laugh. “Oh please.” He says. We talk for a while more before we head to bed.
