It's crazy what can happen in the course of five years.

I wake up to four little feet jumping on the bed. I wake up with a sigh, "Good Morning!" Josh says coming into the room. "Morning!" I say. "You should definitely get up if you want to get the house ready for..." He stops and drops his gaze on Aubree, our now four year old daughter. I smile getting up from the bed and jumping in the shower. In just thirty 'short' minutes. I'm dressed in a cream colored peplum dress with lace around the neck, I smile because this is not only Aubree's favorite dress, but Josh's.

I head downstairs and I don't hear the chatter of our children. "Sophia picked em up. She wanted to go 'dress shopping'." Josh says with air quotes. I laugh because everyone knows that Sophia loves to spoil my kids. Josh and I are decorating the house and backyard for Aubree's party. It sucks when your daughter wants an outdoor party in the snow and we live in California and she won't let you take her somewhere, so the theme is Purple Wonderland.

We've turned the house into a purple 'snow' castle and the backyard is the wonderland. The backyard is covered in fake but realistic looking snow with purple glitter. There's a large tent thats looking like a massive igloo in the center of the yard. In the igloo is where the party awaits.

The guests start arriving and I tell them to park somewhere away from my house. They are ushered into the 'igloo' and are waiting for there Purple Snow Goddess Aubree to arrive. I hear chattering by the front door so I know Sophia, Kellan, Aubree and Colt are home. Colt's five and a spitting image of his father. The door opens and I hear Aubree gasp. Josh and I yell 'Surprise!' And she squeals running into my arms. "Let's go outside." I say putting a crown of purple 'snowflakes' on her head. Sophia and Kellan follow behind us with there daughter, Lila. We open the back door and Aubree gasps, yet again. We burst into rounds of laughter as she runs into the glittery snow and begins throwing it in the air. We pull her along until we are at the entrance of the igloo. We enter and everyone screams, "Surprise!" Aubree squeals with excitement as she races over to her friends.

It's time to bring out the cake and as a pastry chef, it has to be big.

Tiffany and I wheel in the 3 tier Purple Snow Goddess cake. There is a round if applause as it is brought in. The bottom tier is a white igloo with purple edible glitter, the second tier is a purple princess pillow and resting on top of that purple princess pillow is a princess tiara. Everyone gathers around as we sing Happy Birthday to Aubree. Pictures are taken and Aubree is overjoyed.

The party has died down, it's just Josh, Aubree, Colt and I. Aubree is still freaking out over the pony I told Sophia not to get. And now Aubree's sitting in a purple princess gown humming to music that is playing from one of her games. Colt is asleep in between Josh and I as we sit on the couch. Josh's phone begins to ring and he sighs, not answering it. "What're you doing? It's your manager. It's probably important." I say. He smiles looking at me. "I don't want to be with my manager right now I want to be right here, with all of this." He says gesturing to the trashed snow castle that I call our house. He leans over and kisses me long and sweet and we are interrupted when Aubree comes over and jumps in my lap. We laugh. Aubree soon falls asleep, Colt asleep between us. "I love you!" Josh whispers in my ear. I lean in to kiss him again and I mutter against his lips, "I love you more." He smiles. "Impossible babe."

The End!
