3 months later I was back to my normal self. I had finally found the strenght to keep going. To keep pursuing. It was going to be my first mission. I grew frantic. The Village Hidden in the Rain. It seemed like a dream. I realized that it was only a C mission but still it was higher than I expected. Ushio would be going with me. He never left my side which was strange. I was physically able to do anything but he continued to stay by my side. I loved that.

Shino continued to be our leader for the time being. I didn't mind that at all. Yamato scared me sometimes with his strange looks. Sometimes it would drive me mad.

Our first mission was to go the the Village in the Rain and to deliver a message from my father. He would've sent Anbu Black Ops but he decided it was time for Team 7 to take a break from the Konoha and venture off into the unknown. It hadn't been my first mission out of the Konoha though.

I prepared myself by packing necessities. Snacks, kunai knives, medical herbs, a poncho (incase it rains) and hand warmers. Dad waited for me at the front door. "Did you pack your poncho?"

"Yes Dad."

"Extra money?"

"Yes..Dad."

"Ninja stars?"

"Yes Dad."

"Oh! Did you remember those hand war-"

"Yes! I have everything. See ya dad." I hugged him and walked outside.

"Your little 'friend' is waiting for you."

"Ushio?"

Dad nodded his head and smiled. I gave him a small wave and went outisde. Ushio was there.

He had a big bulging backpack and he had every single type of clothing plastered on his body. Rain coat, snow boots, mittens, an umbrella hanging from his backpack and sunglasses.

"Ushio! What are you wearing?!" I exclaimed.

"What do you think? We are going to the Hidden Rain aren't we? Doesn't Rain ring any bells? Rain Kushina! Its gonna be wet!"

I tried to stifle my laughter but it came out loud and obnoxious. "Ushio! There is no snow in the Rain don't ya think?" My cheeks turned beet red as I continued to laugh.

"Ha Ha very funny. I brought an extra pair of shoes and some extra rain coats if you or the other two need one."

"How very thoughtfull!" I beamed as I nudged him. He grabbed my shoulder and directed me to where our meeting place was. The gate. Maybe this mission would be easier but I was nervous. I mean Naruto did say that the letter was important.

Shino, Tae, and Killian stood waiting for us. Tae chortled once she saw Ushio. Killian looked more confused then anything and Shion's face was still hidden behind his coat. I could tell he was laughing on the inside.

"Alright. I'll lead the way and the rest of you follow behind me. The Village in the Rain will take us a long time to get too so I hope you brought plenty of supplies. If anyone needs a break for any reason just hollar. I've already sent my bugs ahead of us to scout the area. So far, nothing yet. Let's go."

Shino ran ahead. The four of us ran side by side in the bright glare of the sun. This mission would be easy peasy.
