Chapter 8: Mark's POV
Training with Jinyoung was smoother and easier than I thought. There are times that he'd still get surprised when I'm close with him but I know he's trying to shake off that nervousness when I'm near. I also found out that Jinyoung's very stubborn and childish at times. One time I told him we should stop practicing coz he was obviously worn out but he whined like a child and insisted he still can manage an hour more.
I find it really amusing that Jinyoung wasn't afraid to argue with me like most people does. Others, even our five dork friends, would always follow as I said. They'd probably whine a little but they won't press over the matter too long and instead they'd obey. But Jinyoung's not like that. If I do something or tell him something he finds wrong or felt like it was not right from his perspective he would immediately throw lot of 'whys', then he'd pout and argue endlessly. He never wins of course. He knows better than to go against what I say. After all, everything I do or say was for his own good.
Today I needed to stay at one of my classmate's house after school hours to finish some group homeworks and stuffs. It was already past 11pm and I was tired and sleepy as I dragged myself back to the dorm. What I saw as I stepped into our living room surprised me though.
Cans of beer, empty pizza boxes, leftover chickens and junk foods scattered across the living room with 6 drunk boys sprawled across the sofa and some on the floor.
I stood there, eyes wide in disbelief. Bambam was the first one to notice me.
"Hyung, you're home!" he said as he leaped out of the sofa and ran to greet me.
I held out my hand to stop him before he can even knock me down. He whined and complained why I don't want to hug him. I just smiled at him. I'm too tired to argue right now. I walked towards the rest of them while guiding Bambam as he was surely wobbly on his feet and I don't know how he managed to run to me a while ago though he couldn't even managed to walk properly.
Jackson was on the floor and I dropped Bambam beside him. Yugyeom was lying or should I say more like slumped on the sofa with Jinyoung sitting beside him with a can of beer on his hand. My eyes darted to the last two boys and I saw something worthy to raise my brows. Youngjae was comfortably sitting on Jaebum's lap. Not to mention Jaebum's arms are wrapped around the younger's waist. Am I missing something? Since when did these two became so lovey dovey with each other?
I sighed heavily – from tiredness and from the sight of mess in front of me.
"Where's JunK hyung? And why the heck are you drinking?" I asked them why I busied myself cleaning some of their mess from the floor.
"Late welcome party for Jinyoungie!" Jackson shouted drunkenly followed by whoopings and cheers from the rest. "That and we just felt the need to get drunk," he added cheekily.
"JunK hyung's gonna kill us," I muttered as I continue to tidy the place and occasionally swatting their hands and legs so I can pick up the litters.
"No he won't my dear hyung," Jackson uttered as he threw his arm on my shoulder and pulled me close to him on the floor. "JunK hyung called, he's at JYP's and he'd be back Sunday night," he cheerfully informed.
"We have the whole weekend to ourselves! Yey!" Youngjae cheered from Jaebum's lap and the latter happily ruffled the younger's already messy hair.
"Enough drinking guys. Time for bed." I told them. They were totally drunk, even my brother Yugyeom was pretty wasted. I need to get them to bed so I can clean the remnants of their happy hours without any hassle.
Then I saw Jinyoung reached over the table and opened another can of beer. "Jinyoung give me that," I demanded while attempting to grab the can from him.
