Chapter Eighteen

(A/N: This was supposed to be a double update but I kinda deleted chap19 and so I have to write it over again T.T

And sorry for the late update too >.< I was really busy >.<)

Chapter 18: Mark's POV

I woke up to the smell of something fragrant. I slowly opened my eyes and scanned my surrounding finding out that I was alone inside a big room. My head started to hurt and so I have to close my eyes again to calm myself.

Then I remembered what happened.

"Shit! Yugyeom!"

I abruptly got up, ignoring the pain and the soreness I felt all over my body. I got out of the bed only to fall on the floor with a loud thud as my knees gave in.

Yugyeom! I need to find Yugyeom! That was all I think about while grunting, forcing myself to stand up.

And that's how they found me.

"Mark! Oh my god!" Jinyoung yelled as he went inside the room. JYP followed behind him. "Are you okay? Why did you get up?"

"Yugyeom, where is he? I need to see him," I told them in a rushed and panicked voice.

I was desperate. Last thing I remembered was Yugyeom's crying face and helpless voice as the hunters took him away. I need to know where he is. I will never forgive myself if something bad happened to him.

"Shhh, relax Mark. Yugyeom's fine, and it was all thanks to you," Jinyoung said as he hugged me on the floor, hands drawing soothing circles on my back to calm me. "Now let's get you back on the bed, okay?"

"Where is he? I want to see him," I said. He and JYP hyung was helping me up and laid me down the bed.

"Stay in bed Mark. You suffered many injuries and thankfully there were other wood elementalist to sort you out while Youngjae had passed out himself," JYP said, eyes calm yet worried. "They have healed your wounds and fractures but you lost a lot of blood, and not to mention you almost depleted yourself of elemental energy. You badly need to rest Mark. And you are not to leave this bed until you have fully recovered. Do you understand me young man?" he added. He was standing beside the bed while Jinyoung sat beside me.

"But I need to see him, please,"

"He's sleeping now Mark. He and the others are all fine, just tired. It's been a long day for all of you and I think you should go back to sleep too," JYP replied. I could never get my way with him, can I?

"But-"

"It's past 1am Mark, we all need to sleep," Jinyoung muttered tiredly. I pleaded more but they turned me down every time. I didn't stop until they promised to let me see him in the morning. "I'll just be next door," he informed a soft smile on his face.

JYP moved first, he started walking towards the door to leave. Jinyoung followed, giving my hand a one last squeeze before he stood up.

I panicked a little. I don't want him to go, I want him beside me. So I held his hand as firmly as I can given the lack of strength my body's experiencing as of the moment. "Can you stay? Please?" I asked him.

He looked at me then he glanced at JYP who was still standing by the door. JYP smiled and nodded proceeding to leave, closing the door behind him.

He climbed on the bed and lay beside me. "Closer, please. I badly need it," I requested while softly tugging his hand closer to me. He chuckled but he didn't object. He did as I requested. He snuggled closer, placing my head on his arm while his other one was on my back, caressing the sore and aching muscles. I sighed in content.
