Zac

I walk up lying in a bed, Martin sitting in a chair near by. I can tell right away we are back.  We are in the infirmary and an I.V is in my arm. I rip it out and slide off the bed. I attempt to slip past Martain, but a hand slides to my wrist. Martin stands up pushing me towards the medical cells. He whispers one word into my ear.

"Keira."

I run past him going up to every door and pearing into the little window. I looked in every door except the one where Dr. Sam is. I inch foward and she opens the door. I look past her to find a sprawled out Kiera lying on the concrete. I rush past the Sam and kneel on the floor next to Kiera. She wakes in a panic. My quick reflexes act my hand already grabbing her metal paw. Her claws dig into my palm but I don't care, I gently set her paw down next to her. I can see her shoes were kicked to a corner of the cell, I look down at her feet to find metal paws and claws. She looks away from my gaze.

"Kiera it's okay, I'll find a way to fix this."

"Shut up Zac, you can't fix this." She snaps finally looking me in the eye. Her eyes are a deep yellow, with black slits.

"Wha..." "Kiera I understand-"

"No Zac." She hisses. "You don't have the right to act like you know me, just because were supposly siblings. "You have always lived the life, never being locked up as a child. Always getting free run of the lab, while the rest of us were stuck in training You just think you're special because you were allowed out, well guess what Zac, I hate you. I hate how you can walk around this place freely, always knowing where you are going. You're probaly secretly friends with some of our guards."

Her arms turn silver and she falls over. I stare stunned at her then look back at Martin standing by the door. Kiera's mouth turns into a thin line. "Get lost Zac." Her tail now a full blade of silver strikes towards me. I roll out of the way just in time only getting a little slash on the cheek. Martain grabs my arm and pulls me back. I stare stunned at Kiera as Martin drags me away. Away from my sister, away from hope.

Cody:

I wake on a wooden chair, with a light blinding me. I move all around trying to get out of the chair, but my hands are tied with leather retraints. A table sits in front of me with another chair across from me.  Harvy sits in the corner asleep. He looks so peaceful I feel bad waking him up.

"Harvy."  I whsiper.  He doesn't awnser. "Harvy."  I say a little louder this time.

"He can't hear you."  A voice says.  A teenaged girl with curly black hair comes in.

"You monster."  I say through gritted teeth.

"He's fine."  Is all she says before another women comes into the room followed by to men.  It's the same people as before.  I pull on the restraints trying to break free.

"Katie, did you have to tie him up?"  The women says looking over at me.

"I knew you wouldn't, so yes I did."  She says. "And plus he could be, you know corrupted."  She says glaring at me.

"I'm not corrupted."  I say trying to figure out what they were talking about me being corruoted.

"That sounds exactly like what a corrupted person would say."  She snaps.

"Katie that's enough."  The women says raising her voice slightly.  "You may leave now."  Katie gives me one last dirty look before exiting.

"I apoligize for her behavior."  She says.  "And the restraints."  She adds pointing to the straps.  "Do you know anything about the Haven?"  She asks taking a seat across from me.  Her two body guards stand on either side of the door behind her.  My head starts to hurt as she starts to question me.

"The what?"  I question wondering where this was going.

"Kaine didn't tell you about a perfect place where you could be free of pain and suffering."

"You mean like a limbo?"  The two men tense automactically when I say this.  The womens face falls and she looks towards the ground.

"Yes a limbo of sorts."

"No, I don't know what you are talking about." I say leaning back in the chair. She hesitates for a second but then quickly moves on.

"Cody do you know what you are?"  She asks questioning me further.

"Yes I am a living creature, or do you mean  the fact that some phsco combined my DNA with some extint animal and turned me into some sort of hybrid."  "I don't even know if I'm still human."  I shout glaring at her.

"60 percent." She whispers.

"What?"

"You are 60% human."

"Are you them?"  I ask tensing up.  The only people that should know about me is the people that created me.  The people that broke into my home and captured me.

"No Cody we are not them, we are more of the people againist them."

"So you're rebels?"

"No we are a secreat society named C.L.A.W and we are trying to eliminate Labs United."

"You mean the crazy people that kidnapped me."

"Yes."

"So where are we?" I ask starting to understand this madness  She hesitates again.  "I want to know where I am." I say clencing my fists. She looks over at the two men by the door, one of them speaks up.

"He doesn't know anything."  The pain in my head goes away.  I blink a couple of time trying to figure out if the pain was real or fake.  It just went away so fast.

"I will show you."  She says all of a sudden?

"Show me.."

"Show you where we are."  She says.

I stare at the TV screen in shock, tears streaming down my face. My Aunt cradles my little brother, rocking him back and fourth. I watch again and again as terrible creatures rip through the city where I live. I was visiting my Aunt at the time, but my parents were back at the house. The whole city was destroyed, including my parents appartment. I hold in my anger for the animals. Where in the world is animal controll when you need them, or like a zoo keeper. I knew the rebels were mad but I didn't think they would try to ruin the goverment like this. I feel a tinge of rage and run up to my new bedroom. I lock the door and slide to the floor, hugging my knees.

I'm sitting against the door hugging my knees, when it comes. The sting of pain. Ever since I was little when I would get mad or frightend a tinge of pain would follow. When I turned nine these pains would get worse, and now. I fall foward on my hands and knees. I attempt to puke but nothing comes up.

I put a hand to my head, the world is spinning faster than I can imagine. Something cuts into my lip and I wince. I close my eyes hoping for it to pass like it normally does. The pain comes full on this time, and my nails feel like they are strecting. I open one eye and bite down a scream as I see my nails growing and curling around a furry ball where my hand used to be. I close my eyes as another wave of pain comes. I hear a snap and my hands fail me. My head slams against the floor and this time I do scream. I remember last summer when I broke my arm. It felt like this, but about 20 times less pain. My grandma's worried voice drifts up the stairs.

"You okay kiddo?" She asks. I reply through the stuff in my teeth, and crawl over towards my radio. My curled nail slams into the buttton and music blasts from the speakers. Something in my spine snaps and I grit my teeth. A small snarl comes out of my mouth. I run to my mirror on four paws.

Confussed I study myself in the mirror. A small little cat with dark spots looks up at me. I close my eyes in fear. When I open them again I see myself a normal girl on all fours looking up at the mirror. I fall to my back utterly exhausted with no explanation.
