Zac
Martin drags me down the hall and throws me in a cell. I just watch depeated as the door slides shut. He walks up my new cell and puts a finger on the small green talk button.
"I'm nit letting you out untill you stop thinking about ways to kill Kaine."
"You know it was so much better when you weren't reading our thoughts all the time."
"Who says I wasn't."
"I would have sensed you." He doesn't respond knowing I won.
"I'll be waiting." He says walking away from the cell. I edge towards the bed and lay down.
Maybe I should be thinking of ways to kill him, so I don't have to listen to him anymore. I think.
I can still here you. I roll my eyes thinking of that smug little smile Martin must have on his face right now.
Go to hell.
Already going. He responds. I drag myself off my bed, and stare at the stupid metal braclet. It's all Kaine's fault this is happening, or maybe it's the stupid secret service. Whoever it is Kiera is dying and they are probaly sitting in their rich houses putting their feet up. I slam my fist into the wall. My knuckles turn bright red. I stare with satisfaction. It should be me I'm the one who got all the fancy stuff while they sufferd. I should be punished. I should feel their pain.
I punch the wall again, hoping the pain will redeem me. I punch the wall again and again each time harder than the last. Blood stains the white walls, and my shirt has dark droplets. My knuckles are a bloddy mess, making me sick to my stomach. Screw the goverment and screw Kaine.
I hear feet rushing down the hall, and remember that Martin was listening to my thoughts.
I hear him type in the code and the door slides open letting in a rush of cold air I let Martain drag me away from the wall and pull me into the hall. He drags me all the way to the medic and forces me to sit down on the bed. I try to get up but he pushes me back down and keeps a strong grip on my collar.
"Get it together Zac." He whispers. I hang my head down in shame. I deserved whatever came next. A doctor rushes over at the sight of Martain. I pull myself into a tight ball, hugging my knees to my chest. Someone grabs my hand and puts a cold liquid on it. It stings but I barley feel it because of a deeper pain. My face gets wet quickly, to my suprise. The doctor drops my hands and I put it to my face. I put my head in my knees rocking back and forth. I feel myself being lifted from the table and carried away, like a sleeping child being carried to their room.
Martin almost drops me putting in the code, but he doesn't. He just puts my down on my bed. I turn away from him and stare at the wall. The glass closes softly, but I don't bother to run. I turn around for a second and notice Martain staring at me from the corner of my eye. I wish to die in this cold, solid, white room.
Cody
The two men unstrap me from the chair and help me to my feet. I push them off once I'm standing, and follow the women to the door. Before we leave though I wake Harvy who was asleep and take his leash. The guards follow behind me, but I just ignore them.
What's your name?" I ask sick of referring to her as the women.
"My name?" She questions. Um isn't that what I just asked. "My name is Kelly." She says. She looks back as if waiting for me to say something but when I don't she just turns to open the door.
"Welcome to C.L.A.W she says opening the doors. I follow her out and look down at the busy underground city. We are standing on a balcony overlooking the city below us there are wodden houses and little shops where people seemed to be trading things. Guards were walking around guarding what looked like an exit. A large building with a blue cross stood in front of us. It was probobly there infirmary.
"Wow this place is huge." I whisper in awe. She waves for me to follow her and we walk down several stairs before reaching the bottom.
"We hunt most of our food or grow it. Everyone has a job wheter it's guaring the place or hunting, they are all what keeps us going."
"And these are all-"
"Yes, they are like us." She says completing my thought. "I can take you outside if you want." I nod eagerly. She leads me to a room heavily guarded with guards. She walks up to them and they nod parting for her.
"Wow so you must have some authority here." I say as we walk past the guards and into the room. The only thing in the room is a ladder leading up.
"Well I am their Alpha." She responds walking to the ladder. I hand Harvy's leash to one of the guards and they look down at it like it's going to kill them.
"Please stay down here and watch our guest's dog." Kelly says to them.
"But Alph-"
"I said stay, I won't be long." They nod and slowly take the leash from me. Then I follow her up the ladder and into the sunlight. I look around it seems we are in a valley with a small river on one side and a forrest on another.
"Are we still in Washinton."
"Yeah we couldn't take the risk moving several thousands of people with Kaine's men everywhere." She looks out into the distant. "We can't stay here long."
"Why not?"
"Because he can track us." As soon as she says this she turns to me with a look of shock. She grabs my right hands and flips it over. I see some sort of number on my wrist I never seen before.
"What the."
"We have to go in now." She commands dragging me back down the ladder. I scurry down the ladder and she comes down seconds later right behind me. The two guards are still standing in the exact same places as before.
"Lock the place down." She commands to her guards. "We have a problem." They nod and the one guard drops Harvy's leash before running off.
"Wait what happend?" I ask.
"You happend."
Emma
I wake up to a light in my eyes. It seems to be coming from above so I open my eyes and find myself blinded by the sun. I sit up in alarmed, confussed and afraid. Leaves crunch under my feet as I attempt to stand. My whole body is sore and little specks of red cover my arms. I look around trying to figure out where I am, when I hear a crunch in the distance. My body springs into action before my mind. I stare in all directions searching for the source of sound. When I find it my heart drops.
A man with black hair and sharp green eyes stands to my left with a group of men holding guns. He kind of looks like me even though my eyes are hazel. The man's sharp green eyes find me and suddenly and group of men are chasing me througn the woods. I dash through the forest looking for an escape, but there is no escape in the forrest. I look behind me to see if the men are still there. Big mistake. I slam right into a big tree and fall down seeing stars and hearing leaves crunching. I can see the man with dark hair walking up to me. Something sharp pierces my bottom lip. It takes all of my strenth to open my eyes. The man puts of a hand as if surrendering.
"Easy now Emma," He says "It's okay, we're not going to hurt you. I just look up at him and blink a couple of times unable to do anything else. Something hits my shoulder and an instinct kicks in. I struggle to my feet, but a gentle hand is placed on my shoulder. I look up at the man and struggling to keep my eyes open but fail as I escape into darkness.
