Ten days later
We had made it. The pack and I had finally made the ten day trip to Canada. We ran over 2,805 miles in a little over nine days. It was dusk by the time we arrived in Toronto Canada. That was where we were to meet Kelly, amd the others. We walked in the dry dessert, heading towards the meeting spot. I could smell the pack as we got closer, and soon I could see them in the distance.
"You made it." Kelly says patting me on the back.
"Ever doubt I would?" I question. She gives me a smile and turns towards the exhausted pack.
"Tonight we rest, and tomorrow we hunt." She says. 5,000 morphs crumple to the ground and are asleep in seconds. I too fall to the ground already fast asleep.

A whole week had gone by and still no awnsers. Fake memories threatened to overpower me, but I held my ground. I pushed them out and tried to focus on something real, which usally ended up with me crying. Jax had visited once, and told me, he was visited by a distraction. I had no idea these distractions were people, but now I was aware. I had gone to school like a normal person, and I had acually liked it. The idea of blending with other kids in the past was a far off topic, but now It seemed normal. Wake up, pick clothing from my extremly large collection. One day it had taken me thirty minutes to pick something to wear, there were just so many choices. I was finally happy, but that was short lived. I had to remember, whatever awnsers were locked away in my brain. I finished the book I stole from Zac, it was a list of morphs in the world, and it grew everyday. Everyday I would come home to find a new page that had been added. The scientist have finally figured out the injection to create more morphs, and they were using it to create more morphs, but not all the experiments worked. I had searched the web for days trying to find anything on Kaine, but my only source of real information was the book. It had awnsers from the outside world, but none were the awnsers I needed. I picked up the book and threw it across the room frustrated. It was 10:00pm and I had been flipping through the book and my brain since eight. Tomorrow I was going to find Skye so I wouldn't be able to work out awnsers. Dad slipped in my room, yesterday I learned his real name was Marcus.
"Go to bed Kiera." He says.
"But I can't stop, I haven't found anything yet." I whine.
"It will come to you, when your ready." He says.
"But what if it comes to late?" I say. He just looks away.
"Good night Kiera." He says, and the door falls shut behind him

"Give me the serum." He orders. I rush over to the cabinet and press a few buttons. The door automatically slides open and I grab a bottle of serum and a srynge. I rush over, almost dropping a bit. He grabs it out of my hands and fills up the sryinge. He motions to the mother on the table. She had pleaded and begged us not to hurt her unborn child. She was only about a month pregnant, a perfect amount of time to change the DNA while the cells were forming. It was nessicary for the child to not be fully developed, so that the DNA could be changed. It had taken almost 50 years for scientist to figure out the serum again, after the C.L.A.W stole it. He flicked the sryinge a couple of times before injecting the mother with the serum. If all went right it would bypass the mother and go directly to the child. The new, more advanced technology would make sure of that.
"Get her to a cell," He demands after she is injected. "And bring me Jen." I unstrapped the restraints as fast as I could, then carried the mother all the way to a cell. I locked to door and ran down. Room after room of cells. We were one of the up to date labs, with most of the new technology. I pucnched in the code for Jen's cell and the glass slid past me. White walls greated me as I walked into the cell. It was bright, as there were many lights. A camera was in one corner monitoring her every move. When she saw me come in, she backed up into a corner, putting a hand to her stomach.
