We walk home in silence, with me trailing behind dad. I tried getting into his mind, and listen to his thoughts, but was pushed out immediately, by a searing pain.

"Ahhh!" I scream, falling to my knees in pain. I hold my head tightly, feeling the blood going through my brain. Dad looks back and runs over, kneeling next to me.

"Hey, are you okay?" He asks. I look up into his worried eyes, and the world dissapers behind me.

I look to my right a school looms over me. My high school. I look all around no kids or teachers in sight. My legs move before by brain. They carry me across the soccer field, and into the forest. I run passing animals and trees. I jump over a stream, and come to a tall pine tree. I put my hand up aganist the bark, and a blue light flashes. The light goes up and down scanning my body. I wait untill it finishes. The blue light dissapers and the trunk of the tree starts to peal away like a banana skin. There sitting in the tree is a box. I grab the box and open it there inside is a silver key.

"Kiera, Kiera wake up." Dad says shaking me. I blink looking around, there is no high school, just a a sidewalk and a street.

"I saw it."

"Saw what?"

"I saw where the key is."

"The key to what?"

"The key to freedom."

We watch as Kaine commands his army. Skylar, and Cody walk around the children ordering them to shift, while Zac and Kiera wait in the front waiting to attack. Emma starts to shift, she is also at the front. We wait 50 feet back, watching them all move. I press the blinking light on my watch accepting the call.

"We're almost there." Kelly says, breathing hard. "I called the other some will be there before us and others after," "Do not move." She commands. Before I can say anything she clicks off. Most of the children have already shifted and I watch the army movijg towards the city.

"We have to stop them." I say, turning towards my small pack of four. "Jessica you disttact them while we shift."

"But Kelly said not to move." She complains.

"This city is about to be burned down, after that happens the whole country will be in panic." I say. "We have to do this now." She hesitates before giving a quick nod and shifting. Before I know it she's flying towards the army, full speed.

"Okay let's hurry." I say to the pack. I stare at the pack thinking of what animal I should be. I was thinking cougar. I fall to my knees in sudden pain, My hands hit the ground and I breath heavy. I didn't know if we had enouh time, everyone was extremely vulnerable during the change. My bones cracked and I cried out. I let the pain wash over me in waves, eadh worse than the last. My shirt rips open as my body changes I opened my mouth and a cry was the last thing that escaped my mouth before my canines grew, and then it was over. I looked over at my friends, a jaguar, a wolf and me. I then turn my attention to the army. Jessica is flying circles above them. All the morphs are going wild each, leaping into the air teeth bared. They were all injected with a serum before that makes them attach anything that moves. Kaine is yelling orders at the only ones who will listen. Kiera and Zac obediently follow Kaine's command and go around nipping everyone into silence. There are a couple yelps and then all is quite.

Jace listen to them. He nods and his ears perk foward.

They know it's a distraction. He replies.

Good let's go. We turn towards the army ready to run, but two coyotes and a grey wolf stand in our way. I look past them, Kaine is waving to me while the army is running towards the city. Damm it. I say to myself, even thouh I know Jace and Ella are listening to my every thought. I brace myself, and then charge, tackling the first coyote to the ground. Jace and Ella are already on the others. I wrestle with the coyote each of us taking turns bitting each other. I dig my teeth into his fur and a yelp of pain escapes from his throat. He bites me, and I jump back. He scrambles to his feet and we circle each other. Then he pounces,as he flies through the air I bite his belly. He rams into me and whines, I stand over him about to give the killing blow, when something hits me in the head. I fly off the the coyote stunned. I see Jace on the ground bleeding and Jennifer still fighting the other coyote. The wolf Jace was fighting must have hit me. The wolf walks over to me smiling. His canines have blood dripping from them. He stands over me growling. Just as he's about to bite me something rams into him and he's on the ground. I watch as Kelly's pack run around us. Kelly finishes the wolf and walks over to me. She stands over me guarding. Another person in her pack helps Jennifer fight and gets Jace off the ground. She shifts back and kneels beside me. I end up shifting back still on the ground. I inspect some of the bite marks before nodding.

"I'm fine." I get to my feet, and look over at Jace.

"Don't worry he'll be fine." She says patting me on the back. She turns towards her pack, just as another group comes in.

"Let's go people!" She yells. The pack charges towards Kaine's army.

"Let's go save some people."

"We have to find it I say." Scrambling to my feet.

"Kiera wait, we don't even know what it unlocks."

"It unlocks a door." I say turning towards the house. Dad grabs my shoulder.

"We don't even know where the door is." I turn around.

"That's why I need the key." "Maybe if I touch it I'll get another vision. " I say.

"This is crazy, maybe we should wait-"

"No I'm going for the key tomorrow, weather you help me or not is your dession. I spin myself around, breaking his grip. I storm into the house almost running into Zac.

"Want some lunch?" He asks.

"Yeah sure." We walk to the kitchen and Zac hands me a sandwitch. "Mom just made them." He says grabbing one and sitting at the table. I follow and sit down. I hear the front door open and Dad walking in.

"Do you belive in past lives?" I ask him. He looks at me.

"Uh no." He says bitting into his sandwich. I hear Dad walking towards the kichen. I speed up my conversation.

"What about werewolves?" I ask.

"I've read about them, but they're not real." He says.

"What if I told you they were real?"

"Then I'd say you're crazy."

"Don't you ever wonder why it's just werewolves, what if it was all animals," I say just as Dad walks in.

"Maybe because wolves are cool?"

"But a wolf can't fly or breathe under water." I say.

"So?"

"So, we lived in a different world a real world, and we were morphs.

"Morphs?"

"Yeah like werewolfs but we're not all wolves."

"Okay then what was I?"

"Well you were a wolf, but that's not my point." He just looks at me.

"You need to help me find a way back."

"Excuse me?"

"A way back to our world."

"Kiera you're concerning me."

"Hey guys." Dad says cutting into my conversation. "Whatcha talking about?"

"I really have no idea." Zac says standing up from the table. Dad waits for him to leave before talking.

"What are you doing?" Dad asks sounding annoyed.

"Telling him the truth." I snap. I push past him towards my room.

"Kiera get back here now." He says raising his voice.

"No, you can't tell me what do, you're not even my real father." I yell at him before stomping up the stairs. He doesn't say anything, just watches as I run upstairs and slam my door.
