Katie and I sat in the car, waiting for Carolyn to get out of the house so we could go to the mall and meet Jace and Eric.

"Ugh she needs to hurry up," I complained as I honked my car for the 4th time. Me and Katie were already sitting her waiting for almost 10 minutes now.

Carolyn ran out of the house and locked her door. She came inside the car. "I'm so sorry! I was preparing lunch and then I spilled food all over the floor and had to clean it up and then make another plate of food."

"Wooow," Katie said and we laughed. Carolyn could be a bit of a klutz sometimes.

"By the way I invited a new friend of mine. Her name is Delancey," Carolyn said. "Don't worry she's chill. I hope that's cool."

"Yeah that's cool," Katie said.

We finally got to the mall. "I wonder where Jace is. He said he's at the food court. He must be around here somewhere," I said. We went to the food court and looked for him.

"You go girl! You go and get that muscular piece of ass!" Katie yelled.

"Not so loud!" I hissed, "There's children here! Also Jace could hear you if he's here!"

"I definitely ship you two," Katie said. All of a sudden, she gasped and freaked out, "And OH MY GOD I JUST REALIZED ERIC IS COMING!"

"You're going to blow people's eardrums out." I rubbed my ears and shot her an annoyed look.

We kept looking around and we saw Jace and Eric across the food court, sitting at a table by Chick-Fil-A.

"I'm getting hungry," Carolyn said as her stomach growled.

"I thought you just ate," I said and pinched her stomach. She squealed and we laughed. She quickly went over to get a sandwich from Chick-Fil-A. A few minutes later, she came back and then we walked over to Jace and Eric.

"Hey," I said to them.

"Hey!" Jace said to me, his face brightened.

"Hi!" Katie exclaimed and stared mainly at Eric. I could tell she had a crush on him. He was in Mr. Zielinski's class with us and Katie usually stares at him.

Meanwhile, her and Eric were talking while Carolyn was on her phone wondering where Delancey was. She came by a few minutes later.

"Guys this is Delancey Jones," Carolyn introduced.

"Hey," Delancey said and smiled. We all exchanged hellos and introduced ourselves. She seemed pretty chill and nice. She was pretty, she had curly black hair with a light brown ombre and had on black eyeliner. She dressed in a combination of girly and grunge.

"So where should we go first?" We all stood there and shrugged.

Finally Katie said, "Fine I'll be the leader. Let's go to Hot Topic."

"Good choice," Eric said and smiled at her. She led the way.

"So little miss red pixie didn't have to do her homework after all?" Jace teased me.

My face flushed. Oh yeah Mr. Zielinski texted him with my phone the other day. "No I don't have any," I said and playfully shoved him.

"Whoa you're a feisty little one. That's cute though." He smiled and I blushed and giggled. "Sooo...what's your favorite store?" He asked me.

"Ummm...Hot Topic, Forever 21, Rue 21, H&M, F.Y.E., Game Stop, that one Asian store, and Garbage. What's yours?"
