I got ready for school. I had a slight headache but it wasn't anything too bad.

Katie and I got in the car and went to school.

"So what are you going to do about Eric? I saw what happened yesterday," I said and gave her a look of sympathy.

"I'm planning something," Katie said and grinned. "Don't worry about me."

I was worried about her anyways. She always acts strong and hides her emotions pretty well but I know deep down she's hurting.

We passed by Eric in the hallway. "Katie can I talk to you?" he asked her.

She laughed. "Why don't you talk to Madison? You two looked cozy yesterday."

"I was drunk Katie. I'm so sorry." He held her hands.

She pushed him. "Get the hell away from me." She stomped off and I followed her.

The bell rang and we went to Mr. Zielinski's class. By the time Eric got there, the only seat that was available was the seat in front of Katie. She scoffed.

While we were doing our work, Katie threw an apple at Eric's head. "Ouch," he said and rubbed his head. He turned around. "I deserve it." He looked at Katie sympathetically but she grabbed another apple and crushed it with her hand. He mouthed "I'm sorry" and faced front.

"Everything's going to be okay. Just wait a while," I said to her.

We went through the motions of different classes.

We went to lunch, and Jace was still avoiding me. I saw him sitting at a different table.

Katie noticed I was still sad so she hugged me. A few seconds later, she stopped hugging me and said, "Wait a sec." She ran up to Madison and slapped the tray out of her hands. The food landed all over her and Katie ran back. She grinned.

I started to laugh.

"See? I helped you laugh. I feel accomplished!" She stood there proudly.

Carolyn and Delancey came up to us. "Hey I heard about what happened at the party. Are you okay?" Carolyn asked Katie.

"I'm going to be just fine," Katie said. Easy for you to say.

Carolyn hugged Katie and Delancey hugged me. We stood like that until the bell rang.

After school, I noticed Jace standing next to my car.

"Hey..." I said softly.

"Hey," Jace said. "We need to talk."

I sighed. "Okay."

We sat down at a bench. "Look I'm sorry you saw that text message but I promise you I'm not cheating on you. Yes it's true me and Mr. Zielinski HAVE dated but that was before I met you and before he became a teacher at this school. When I met him, I lied about my age. As soon as he found out I was one of his student's, we broke it off," I explained.

"I see." He put his arm around me. "That makes me feel better. I thought he was just some creep."

I laughed softly. "He's not a creep, don't worry. We had to explain to my mom what happened also."

"How did she react?"

"She was shocked but understood. They broke it off since this is such a weird situation."

"That's good I guess. I mean it sucks for them but in the end, it was for the best."

"Yeah..."

"So are you going to the dance?"

"I would like to. Are you?"

"Yep."

"Are we going together?"

He smiled at me. "Yep."

"Cool." We leaned in and kissed.

A/N: What do you think of Katie throwing an apple at Eric's head? That must have hurt. And also of her knocking Madison's tray out of her hands? Classic Katie xD.

Also, Jace and Raven are back together, yay! Are you glad they're back together?
