Dating Shawn

Chapter 13

It's the weekend, the weekend where I get to go down to Nebraska to meet Jack's parents. Honestly I was terrified I had absolutely nothing good to wear. I push through the clothes in my closet for the fifth time today and found nothing. I sighed loudly.

"I told you to pick anything and they'll love it" Jack told me from the doorway.

"But what if they don't? what if I'm not good enough?" I asked looking at the floor.

"Hey don't even think like that your good enough" he says coming and wrapping me up in a hug.

I felt a sudden urge to throw up so I pushed him off me and ran to the bathroom.

"Are you okay" he asked holding up my hair.

"Yeah, Starr's going to take me to the doctors before we leave to make sure" I told him and nodded.

This was the third time this morning and I never throw up.

"Okay well in the mean time go rest and I'll pack for you" he told me helping me up and siting me on our bed.

I nodded and before I knew it I was asleep.

"Come on Christina we have no time to waste you are supposed to leave in 5 hours" Starr says waking me up.

"Okay, okay" I saying waking up and getting refreshed which included changing my clothes.

We made our way to the car and she drove.

We made it to the doctors alright, with a few incidents involving her road rage.

We waited patiently until a nurse brought us into a room.

"What if your pregnant?" Starr started making conversation.

"Why would you say that?" I asked.

"Because your showing all the symptoms" she tried.

"I doubt I'm pregnant, Johnson and I have only had sex twice and I'm pretty sure his sperm is that strong" I told her.

"It only takes one, besides you said only once after the beach?" She question.

"And another in the morning" I told her.

"Christina Maria Edwards you been holding out on me!" Starr said shocked as the doctor came in.

"Shh, the doctors here" I told her waving off her question.

"Hi ladies I'm doctor Kirkland, and you must be Christina" she said looking at me and I nodded. "Well the nurse did take your vitals which makes my job a little easier, let's see it looks like your pregnant" she said flipping through her paper and I took a long look at Starr.

"How did you do that?" I asked her.

"I didn't fate did" she told me.

"Yeah I'm saying your a witch" I told her and she laughed.

"Would you like to know how far along you are" she asked and I nodded. "About 3 1/2 months now, congratulations" she said getting up and walking out.

"Wait if it's 3 1/2 weeks that means it's not Johnson" Starr told me.

"Then it's Shawn's" I say heavily.

"Holy crap, you and Shawn created life!" She said putting her hand on her mouth shocked at her own words.

"I want to kill it" I said lowly.

"What?" She said sad and a bit shocked.

"I want to kill it for all the pain Shawn's put me through but I can't, I don't have the balls to kill something innocent, but I promise I will love this baby it's the only thing good that came out of our relationship" I told her and she nodded.

"How are you going to tell Jack" she said and my eyes shot open. My mind hadn't even hit Jack yet, he barely even likes Shawn I doubt his going to stay with me now.

"I don't know" I said honestly and we left.

When I entered the house Jack was pacing back and forth.

"Hey baby are you okay" Jack said helping me into the house, I motioned to the couch and he brought me there.

"Jack I have something to tell you and if you want to leave me for it that's fine" I told him and he gave me a confused face.

"Why would I ever want to leave you, Christina I lov-" he started.

"Jack I'm pregnant" I told him and his face lit up.

"Really" he said touching my belly.

"Wait there's more, the babies are not yours they're Shawn's" I said and his face fell.

"Oh" he simply said moving his hands unto his lap.

"I completely understand if you want to leave me, I would to if I was pregnant with someone else's baby" I said looking away I hated to see him sad it just broke my heart.

"Hey I'm never leaving you especially for a reason like having Shawn's kid yeah it hurts that what ever they are isn't mine but still they are coming out of my girl so I'll love them regardless" he says and I almost cried.

"Jack I don't want you to sit around waiting for me, if you stay with me you stay with all my craziness and I couldn't ask you to do that go out and find your perfect girl" I told him.

"You are my perfect girl" he told me and I couldn't help but blush.

"Thanks for not leaving me" I told him laying my head on his lap.

"I'd never do that" he said playing with my hair. "And by the way did they tell you the gender" he asked I shook my head no.

"Of course not silly it's too early for that" I told him.

And before I knew it I was fast asleep.
