During the weekend, I never got to tell Grandma about the accident.

She was already tense about the whole Keisha situation.

I tried to meet Ray on Sunday morning, but I couldn't.

For some reason, so many guards were in front of his room.

They were all just surrounded in the hospital.

I already created a big mess due to my carelessness, so I just silently left the hospital without attempting to meet him.

On Sunday night, I was tossing and turning in bed until midnight.

It was hard for me to sleep.

Saturday's event was not getting out of my mind.

The accident, the police, and Evan's behavior were bothering me.

At around 12:20 am, a noise was coming from outside.

I left the bed and went to the window to see the noise.

When I looked out the window, I saw Keisha in the car.

She sat there for a while on her phone and then exited the car.

I went downstairs before Keisha came into the house.

I stood near the door to talk to Keisha about her behavior toward Dad and Grandma on Saturday night.

"Ah!" Keisha shrieked as soon as she walked in. "What the hell, Faith!? Do you plan on killin' me?"

"Keisha, where were you?" I asked. "Do you know what time it is?"

"Yeah, and so what?"

"Can we talk about yesterday?"

"What about yesterday?"

"What stunt did you pull off last night with Dad and Grandma? Keisha, you pushed Dad."

"Yes, I did, and I don't think I o-"

"You don't think you owe me an explanation, huh."

Keisha rolled her eyes at my response.

"Don't you need to be at school or something tomorrow?" She asked. "Isn't it a little past your bedtime?"

"Keisha, don't change the subject," I said, crossing my arms over my chest.

"Look, girl, I understand where you are comin' from, but It's pretty late now, and I'm exhausted. I don't want to argue with you, so good night."

"Keisha, listen to m-"

She left before I could complete my sentence.

It was hard to understand her.

I wish there were a way to know what she is up to, what she does, and why she comes home late at night.

On Monday, the day was going pretty slow.

I don't know why, but I was nervous.

I guess I was nervous because I hadn't seen Evan Owens all day.

Not that I want to see Evan Owens or anything.

I don't care about him, but it is my misfortune that I have to give him importance to know what is going on in his mind.

"Do you need help with the math assignment for tonight?" Max asked me during lunch.

I nervously nodded my head, but my mind was somewhere else.
