Evan(P.O.V.):
"Evan, what are we doing here?" Faith asked as soon as we stepped into my house.
"Why do you say it like that?" I asked.
"I don't know...It's just that your parents..."
She trailed off, looking down.
"Don't worry," I said. "Just come with me."
Faith nodded her head, following me.
As we went upstairs, I heard noises coming from the kitchen.
I suppose my parents had people over like always.
They recently lost one million dollars in the deal they invested with the Contreras's.
After Brittany got arrested, Leslie Meyers confessed the truth.
I personally went to the police station on the day of Brittany's arrest.
Leslie confessed that Brittany had paid her partners and promised to pay and release her from jail if she blamed everything on Faith.
My dad has been freaking out ever since Leslie told the police the Contreras's are her partners.
He's been yelling more than usual and has become more paranoid. The money he lost in the deal is driving him crazy.
"Evan, what are you doing?" Faith asked impatiently. "I have to go."
"Hold up," I said, looking for something in my closet.
Faith has been upset lately.
Up to a point where she almost ended her life.
I wonder what it would have been if I didn't reach it on time.
I got so used to her in my life that I can't imagine never seeing her again.
The fight we've been having all day worsens things, as it upsets her more.
She feels lost and lonely without her mom.
If her mom were with her, then she would have never considered committing suicide.
So now, I have to make things right and bring her mom back into her life.
When I came out of the closet with the thing that I was looking for, Faith was standing near my dressing mirror.
She saw me through the mirror and sighed, crossing her arms over her chest.
"What took you so long?" She asked. "And why did you take so long if you were just going to come out empty-handed? I'm getting late."
"I know..." I said, walking towards her. "It's just that..Um..I..I..have..um..something...um.."
Faith looked confused.
"I...know...you have been upset lately..." I said. "And I just wanted to...I wanted to bring...um, your mom back..."
"What!?" Faith exclaimed. "Bring my Mama? Evan, what are you trying to do? Make fun of my Mama's death?"
"Of course not."
"Well, you know she's dead, and she can't come back, so why would you talk about bringing her back?"
"I didn't mean it like that."
Faith rolled her eyes, looking away.
"I'm saying I'll bring her back into your life just like she was before I came into your life," I said.
"What do you mean?" Faith asked.
"Before...Before...I came into your life...Your mom...she was with you through your...I mean...the thing that...the thing that you...um... had around your necklace."
