The 3rd Floor

Chapter 4

~Chapter 4~ EXPLORE

*Lexi's POV*

After about a hundred failed attempts to call the elevator, Emily decided to call it quits. She sat lowly on the floor in defeat. Then, something suddenly made her jump.

"Ewww! There's goop on the floor!" Emily said

Kurstin reached down and felt the sticky substance. She brought her hand up and I shined my phone on it.

It was purple and very sticky. Gooey too.

The weirdest part was that the goo only covered the floor by the elevator.

"Ok. Gross!" I said

Me and Emily were starting to get freaked out, so Kurstin decided to go beyond the corner.

After exploring for a second, she came back and told us it was safe and we weren't going to die.

Me and Emily passed the corner with Kurstin. We saw the normal hotel stuff, but it seemed creepier considering there were no lights.

"Why did you convince us to come up here?" I asked Kurstin and Emily

Kurstin and Emily just smirked to each other and continued walking. I decided to do some walking on my own, so I turned a corner when Kurstin's and Emily kept going straight.

I passed hotel room doors. I also passed pictures and their frames which were covered in spider webs.

While caught up in admiring my surroundings, the lights flickered on and the door at the end of the hall opened.

I ran in fear and doing so, I ran into Emily and Kurstin basically doing the same exact thing.

"What are you running from?" I asked out of breath

"We were walking down a hallway. When we realized you weren't with us, we immediately ran back trying to find you." Emily said

"Awe! You guys are the best!" I said

"Now tell us why your running." Kurstin said

"Well I too was walking down an abandoned hallway. Pictures were covered in cob webs and it was dark. The lights flickered on and a door at the end of the hallway opened. So I ran in fear." I responded

After I finished explaining, we found our way back to the elevator.

Emily tried calling the elevator once more, but nothing came and nothing happened.

I just hope Danielle's alright.

*Danielle's POV*

I knew I should've gotten out of this stupid thing when we reached the 3rd floor. Something was telling me not to so I didn't.

And that's how I got trapped in this elevator.

I'm trapped in between the 2nd and the 3rd floor. I could here Emily, Kurstin, and Lexi only if they were close to the elevator. Emily tried calling the elevator, but it wouldn't budge. I tried pressing the floor buttons, but again, nothing.

I didn't have a phone, so I can't call the hotel and tell them I'm stuck in the elevator. Hey wait! Isn't there a button you can press if you get stuck?

I look over at all of the buttons.

1st floor, 2nd floor, 3rd floor, incase of fire, and aha! The "I'm stuck" button!

I press it and wait for something to happen. The elevator slowly falls to the 2nd floor and the doors open. Kurstin's mom is there with the "thank god your ok" look on her face.

"But where's the others?" She said
