The 3rd Floor

Chapter 40

OMG chapter 40! It feels like only yesterday I was writing chapter 1. Prepare yourself because this chapter is gonna get wild! Enjoy!

Did you even think something was going to happen, but then you realize that something totally different was happening?

As Kurstin pulled out the gun and pointed it right at me, I didn't feel so important anymore.

"Kurstin, what the heck are you doing?!" Brad and I practically yelled in sinc.

I laughed.

I knew something was going to go wrong, but I shoved that feeling deep down inside me in hopes that nothing would.

"That's right," she moved closer to me, "I never liked any of you. Your all just a little piece of my big plain."

Even Emily looked shocked at what had just happened. I'm guessing she didn't expects there to be another source of evil lurking the hallways. However, the surprises didn't stop there. Kurstin turned right around and shot Emily just between the eyes.

Holy crap! That's some good aim right there. I wonder how much training she's had.

"I'll shoot every single on of you if you don't do what I say. It's really not that difficult all you do is pull a trigger." With that said, she turned around and shot Bob in the calf.

Well, now we know why Kurstin is such a grumpy person all the time. She just hated being around us. She never liked us so why would she like being around us? Everything is so clear right now.

I kind of feel sorry for Emily because at least she hid her feelings of hatred towards us. Kurstin showed us hers everyday. I know Emily was evil, but that didn't give Kurstin the right to kill her let alone shoot her.

Kurstin talked for a while about a bunch of rules we should follow and be aware of. After that hour long speech, she sent us to the kitchen to gather up some food for her. In the mean time, all she planned to do was sit down and polish the deathly weapon that killed Emily. For a super villian, she sure keeps her revolver shiney clean. I wonder if she killed anyone before. Well, I haven't seen her dad in a while...

Before we left the cafeteria, I noticed Emily's goons huddle around her probably hoping that this was all just a dream and soon they will wake up with their precious leader still breathing.

Instead of going to the cafeteria, I took a sharp left to the main office instead. Don't get me wrong, I really wanted to get food for Ms. Phsyco, but I needed to save the other people still stuck in this building. I knew there were no loud speakers in the cafeteria so if I made an announcment over the PA System, nobody would hear a thing.

"Hello everyone. Please do not panic. Everything is just fine. However, I do need everyone out of the building quickly and quietly. Students and Faculty on the 1st floor, go out the windows and run as quickly as you can to the parking lot. Everyone on the 2nd floor, quietly walk down the back staircases and go out the back doors to the playground. Teachers on the 3rd floor, take your students down the stairs out the side doors and head to the parking lot like the 1st floor. Nobody will go out the front doors and you guys will make no sound. Thank you and please remain calm."

I got out of the office and made it back to the kitchen just in time. Kurstin walked in the door not even 30 seconds after me. Now that's what I call luck.

"I hope you picked me out something nice because if you didn't, I'll kill you." Kurstin's maniacle laugh echoed throught the room.

That's when I scrambled. I have nothing to give her and Im too young to die! Just then, Don placed something in my now sweating hands. It was a cupcake. I looked over at him and noticed that he still had food to save himself. Thank god!

"PLOT TWIST!" I heard Kurstin yell from the other room, "You didn't get food, you don't get to live!" She yelled and all I could hear was a evil laugh and then a gun shot.

I wonder who the victim is this time...
