"Kurstin! What in Gods name are you doing?!" I yelled at the unresponsive girl.
She didn't answer nor did she move in anyway besides her hand. She continues to sign until her name fully written, very neatly I might add.
"She won't answer so please do not expect her to." Emily spat
Just as I turned to see how the others were doing, I noticed something flash in Brad's eyes. No, he couldn't. He wouldn't. I don't think Brad would even think about anything that stupid.
Well, I guess I was the stupid one then.
In one swift movement, he grabbed the pen out of Kurstin's hand. Before I knew it, he was signing the paper just as Kurstin did moments ago.
"She's my girlfriend guys. I can't let her be all alone with this maniac..." His sentence hung in the air as his eyes turned the deep shade of midnight black just like Kurstin's. Just like that, he was gone too.
I just can't comprehend the events that occurred today. I think that so much has gone on in the course of one day that anything else has been wiped completely from my memory.
The only things I remember now are all the things I've done over the summer.
I remember everything about the couple that died on the 3rd floor. I remember the room and jar that helped us change Danielle back into a human. I remember the zombie and Chad's resurrection. I remember when Emily was our friend.
And that's when the tears formed in my eyes. All the good memories we've shared, lies. Everything she said, lies. All the laughs, lies. Emily, a lie.
Basically, the past years I spent with Emily were all lies.
I take one last glance in Kurstin, Emily, and Brad's direction and then run out of the room. No need watching them anymore considering I know how this will end. Everyone is going to sign it, even me.
Considering my hands are covering my eyes, which wasn't very smart, I ran into a wall. My nose made a really loud cracking noise. I think it might be even more broken than before.
I slid down to the ground with my back against the wall. I was rubbing my now bleeding nose while I pinched the top.
Where's that paper when you need it? I really need to wipe up this blood.
By now, the tears are gone and all that is left are little thin streaks of dried tear and mascara. I smile crookedly and wonder, how did we even get into this situation in the first place?
As I look up, I notice 2 figures approaching me. Wait, those aren't just any figures. It's Kurstin and Brad!
They walk close to each other. Each of their steps are in perfect sinc just like robots.
Without any sound coming from either of their mouths, they grab me by my arms and carry me back to the cafeteria. Don and Danielle are tied to the cafeteria chairs which I assume is where I will be.
They have pieces of duck tape around their mouths, but I spot something shiny in Danielle's hands. It's the scissors!
Don looked at me once I was tied up and motioned, with his eyes, to look at Danielle's hands. She held a tiny piece of paper with writing on it.
I pulled at the rope and freed my hands just enough to grab the paper. I looked over my back so I could read it.
Danielle wanted to save us, so I gave her the scissors. I can't deny her when her eyes are that big!
I smiled to myself. Maybe we just might make it out alive.
OMG my little cheese its! The Hand trailer in to the side! ITS SO TOTALLY AWESOME! Lil_moser2 was the creator again. I'm so excited for the next chapter and I hope you are too!!! Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this one :)
